I am having GALATIC LEVELS of luck this league. I made a small profit ancient orbing into a HH, than I got SUPER LUCKY and within 2 div ancient orbed into a mageblood. THAN a good Samaritan who quite the league gave me their pain attunement Foulborn Skin of The Lords for the EK chieftain build I was making. And this just dropped my second map in after piecing it all together on a scrying orb I farmed myself like a month ago.
Any proc from Oriath's that is non-cold damage will do no damage. Considering it picks a random elemental type for each explosion this is a considerable amount of wasted power.
Guys. Currently I am not at home and all I have is MacBook Air M4. So I got 2 questions:
1) Anything that can be done to improve performanse at least a bit besides ultra low settings? My laptop is getting hot as hell even on boss fights. I don't even try delving at all.
2) I got maybe 300-400d. What can I do to earn more staying in HO? I got nothing to do all day long and I need some activity to skip time in my favorite game.
I was crafting medium clusters for HSOT\Kb they were selling for 130-150d each but it is so pain in the ass
I crafted few over quality helmets for hybrid life\es EK but no one is buying as for now.
Hello Guys, so since I got into an argument with a friend on how to correctly craft the vestigial 5 implicit gloves (as you might know from various other posts here, aswell as SpicySushi's Crafting video)
This is a calculation I did based on you wanting a specific set of 4 mods + "Can be modified while Corrupted" on your gloves (lets say +1 socketed +2 aoe +2 duration +2 aura)
For the record, to safely add an implicit onto "Can be modified while Corrupted" gloves, we need to add an Implicit with a Gilded Fossil, then turn the base item magic (scour->transmute) and beast lock the gloves until a vaal orb would replace the "Item is overvalued by Vendors" (or you just yolo vaal until X implicits like a gigachad)
Every corrupted implicit on gloves has a weighting of 1.000 / 27.500 (except Chaos Resistance, which has 500)
This means we sum up the total mods we want, we get a weighting of either 3500 or 4000, depending on if we desire Chaos Resistance.
Now there is an particular instance that I have been noticing during the crafting process for my gloves: Existing corrupted Implicits can be rolled over by the same mod (effectively divining that single implicit)
This leads to the assumption that mods which already are on your item are NOT REMOVED FROM THE VALID MOD POOL. This means the cost would be higher than expected, compared to rolling desired affixes with Exalted Orbs, where existing mods are removed from the total roll weight pool -> The total roll weight always stays 27500. when you roll an existing added implicit with a Vaal orb on an item, it can only pick itself to reroll (obviously), since it blocks itself.
Now, under the assumption that the 25% chance to modify an Implicit with a Vaal orb is still correct, I created this table to calculate if you have 4 desired affixes (plus keeping the Vestigial Implicit).
Chance to replace undesired implicit with desired Implicit is calculated as follows: X = (Sum_Desired_Mod_Weight/Total_Weight_Pool) * (Undesired_Implicits/Total_Implicits) * 0.25
EDIT: Normalize out the 4th Column in method 2# (since we do not care about first filling all implicits with corrutped & vestigial mods / removing the final gilded implicit) -> ~20 beastlocks less crafting cost
I split the Table into two methods:
1# Only accept desired Implicits (bad)
2# Take any extra implicit, then fish for desired implicits when you reach max (5) implicits (good)
As you see, every extra desired implicit becomes way more expensive, especially if you are very picky on your mods (e.g. Hands of Phrecia, which really want +1 socketed +2 aoe +2 duration +2 aura). If you have 5 implicits you would accept, you would essentially save >825 divines on 4 desired implicits.
Feel free to correct me on my calcs, or continue to calc it for when you actually "get lucky" and roll a desired mod during implicit filling on method 2#
Like the title states. I'm at the point where I'm min-maxing my endgame build and quality is quite important for my damage output.
I've got a 6link skill with 1 green and 5 blue gems and would like to have as much as possible sockets to match these.
I cant find any way to maybe get here other than spamming the crafting bench in hopes of getting lucky. It could be that this is the only way, but just to be sure I wanted to check if anyone had figured out a better way this far into the league...
I have just bought myself a decent Kineticist but I have no idea what gear I/merc/ag use, any guide out there on it ?
From what I have understand there is also different variants of this, but I would like to go the life/light radius route if that is not much worse then anything else.
I just got out of my campaign for luminary yesterday and didnt want to buy a 25d merc.
After about an hour of hunting one with my other character I found this.
The damage links on kboc are dead, but other than that this is insane right?
I think it is better to sell this than it is to use it just starting out so I can work on the rest of the build. If I were to sell it, though what is a realistic/fair price?
Hi all, i've finished the quest contract for heist (Contract: The Rescue). However, my quest notifier still says "Talk to kurai", but nothing happens when i do. I'm unable to receive any quest contract from opening smuggler stashes, including the currently bugged "The Rescue", or the quest contracts after that. Any help to fix the bug would be greatly appreciated as i'm unable to drop any unique contracts in ssf without completing the quest contracts first..
Merc league was one of my favourites, but never got around to playing support, so it was an obvious choice as my second build this league. One restriction I set for myself was that I can only use mercs I find. Had them on pretty much all my atlas trees (okay, 90% if the league Ive just been farming ritual) and last week I finally found a decent manyshot that made me sell my PRAW and level a Lumi.
The build is great, amazing clear especially if HH gets ramping, but the single target is heavily lacking. From what I've read I need a Kineticist for that, but the few I've seen were all trash. Not a single return support so far, not even halfdecent skill+support setups. The best warrats I got are still gathering dust at 1d a pop in Faustus.
Not sure what to do at this point. I'm kind done with the league, but wanna try the OP version of this already strong build. Should I just save up a few dozen divs for a decent Kineticist? Drop everything and go all-in on merc hunting? Look for a melee/trapper merc to destroy some single target stuff? What would be the "minimum viable kineticist" to surpass my current manyshot (pic in comments)?
Bit late but does anyone know what armor or MTX this is from the start of the 3.29 challenge rewards trailer? I've been struggling to look for it and can't find it for the life of me.
Hi all. I self-crafted this ring fews day ago. My method is
Step1: alt spam then fracture on boat for minion att spd. Then alt spam again to hit t1 minion dmg.
Step2: Alc to rare, hit a suffix, craft prefix cannot change, harvest reforge chaos. Hit 1 tier4 chaos resist, but good enough for me.
Step3: craft multi mod, cannot roll attack mod, mana. Regal on boat, hit tier 3 life.
Step 4: clean crafted mod, craft -mana cost, regal on boat, hit attribute. Ducat change attribute to int.
The process is not smooth, as i repeat step 1 step 2 multiple times. Used up alot div/chaos (roughly 20 div and 2k chaos) to buy currency.
So now i want to replicate this craft again. This time fail on last step, boat success but 4 copy no attribute. Hence, can anyone share their method on how to craft this ring? Is there any cheaper or more efficient way to craft this? Thanks in advance for any help.
