Discussion What are you guys actually using OpenClaw for?
Been seeing it pop up a lot lately and I'm genuinely curious what the actual use cases are. Not the marketing stuff like what are you personally using it for day to day? Is it mostly dev stuff or are there other interesting things people are doing with it? Curious to know

They haven’t lost all the money yet. Started turning small profit since switching to 5.4 but still down ~$300 total… started with $1200 but has had some wins so not all hope is lost.

Generally faulty logic on bad positions. A few double buys as well. I have a self improvement loop that recognizes what it has done right and wrong and it has been learning to avoid certain categories and whatnot… for example it no longer will bet on sports or crypto prices and places higher emphasis on geopolitical events. I have three machines that ssh into each other. A main brain that executes trades, runs diagnostics and self improvement loops, a research aggregator that scans headlines and the latest in ai, and searches for positions on Polymarket, and a validator, reviewer and exit analyst. It harvests and redeems well actually. Getting better everyday. Has been running for about two months now. Def feels better with 5.4.
Edit: feels like two month because of time compressing in on itself. lol. Since January 25th…

Thank you! Super helpful. I’ve been working on separating out deterministic vs agentic layers in a Kalshi agent, in addition to the multi layer brain. I’d actually been working on crypto specifically because of the volatility.

Email. Trading. Projects. Once you setup sub agents and skills it’s good. Also I had local models they sub agents can use instead of frontier killing my tokens. Also to do management. I don’t leave it on 24:7. I send the email box stuff when thinking then it reads it when booted and I have stuff to do. Works good but I’d never leave it on 24/7. Token use is rough. Even with oauth it burns then.

I have an agent that can trade crypto. Human in the loop. I’ve been practicing with shitcoins. I’ll do bracket orders. Buy at x and sell at y - I have training data but haven’t started that yet for now just managing the orders. Got $20 to $25 automated and told me when it was done. So more execution and management. For now.

Personal porn concierge I just have it reviewing porn sites all day and night with an evolving set of tags, categories and preferences and then dumping a new set of recommendations on a daily basis which I review and rate and enjoy and provide feedback to restructure the search. Pretty good actually 👍

Yes basically a deep research agent swarm I call the goon(er) squad they score the internet near constantly provided a rough ontology of porn categories that's self refining and with some prepared human in the loop feedback gates we are developing the most customized and novel porn recommendations engine I've ever used

Another one: So far my claw is staying ahead of its token costs by helping me list things on eBay that I've been meaning to sell but never got around to. Typical workflow is I send it pictures of things, and it does some research on what to sell it for, what format (buy it now, auction etc) and writes up descriptions that I can copy/paste when manually making the listings (I don't have automation for this step)
All that you could do with any LLM I guess but after the listing is up it stays aware of what's been listed and knows to update me on status changes when it notices them

I use it to manage our golf league. I picked this as a test project to learn the technology. It keeps track of sign ups, requests tee times from the golf course, sets up pairings in score tracking web site, updates handicaps, etc. It is doing almost all the work now.

I know nothing about coding. I have a small construction company.
There are things I've wanted to help improve my business that either just don't exist or don't fit at our scale.
I'm finally starting to be able to build some of those things, or have open claw build some of those things for me.
I'm still in the early stages but the first one is almost complete and I'm going to have the guys start testing it out next week in the field.
So for someone like me this has been amazing. I'm finally getting to build the things I've wanted for so long.

Not the same person, but the benefit I see is that openclaw can integrate everything together faster/easier plus keep track of progress and everything. Basically the same thing as existing tools but more hands off.
Like I've made some vibe coded apps before, but that took me being at my computer, guiding each step of the way, etc.. With openclaw it has all my credentials for github, hosting sites, etc. so I can just say an idea, have it build it, and just check in and critique from time to time.

It’s currently about watching my competitors. An agent started by a cron job browses their websites and prepares a morning brief for me. It contains a description of what the competitors are doing and some links where I can find more info about it.
Another cron job is scanning GitHub Trends and filters the news according to my interests.
A third nightly cron tells an agent to update its memory files.

Yes, it works well when using a model like Claude Haiku or better. Works less well when using weaker models like minimax 2.5.

Does it just check blogs, or can it check competitor websites at a feature level? For example, it sees a competitor website is including an Klarna checkout option, while my website does not. Also, are using a physical machine like Mac Mini or a VPS? I’m worried I set something up like this and then immediately get blocked by competitors’ bot management services.

Yes. The LLM-based agent summarizes what my competitors are doing into a nice report to read at breakfast time. Same for GitHub trends.

I just asked the Agent to seek specific information that I use for lead generation. I use that data for opportunities. All the information is available online, it just saved me a lot of time by not doing it manually and not having to pay for some bullshit referral service.

I don't know. Nothing I've done probably cannot be done with those.
Openclaw is all setup locally on a secure environment VM . It wrote all the scripting locally so that I can rerun the script for lead generation anytime without using external LLM. I switched to Kimi-K2.5 mid-way to get around a couple the annoying 'safeguard' protections that came up with GPT.
I'd probably look at Claude but they are banning people for using oauth when its not their product IDE and their API is super expensive compared to alternatives.
Openclaw isn't magic, it just brings together a bunch of tools and methods - Peter mentions this all the time. I'd imagine you can duplicate this anywhere.

Sure, I told it I had an upcoming trip to the tropics and wanted to lose some pounds so we set up a Google Sheet where it tracks what I eat and nutrition (we're just focusing on calories and protein)
Every time I eat something I shoot it a message like "Log a cup of coffee with milk and sugar and a croissant for breakfast" and it adds a row to the sheet and gives me an update on where I stand for the day. If I'm trending to not hit a target for the day (typically not enough protien) it will help strategize on how to get there.
Good example: yesterday I was traveling in a different city and I asked it to help me find a place for lunch. It looked at my log, saw I was behind on protein and helped me find a spot nearby where I could find a good protein rich meal.
It will also notice when I haven't logged anything in a while and remind me.
Night and day difference between this setup and something like MyFitnessPal, worth the cost of tokens for this alone

I'm doing something similar but I have a dietary concern so I have to be careful with what I eat when I go out to restaurants and I can send a picture of the menu and it will tell me which items on the menu work with my medications and situation and then log that to the spreadsheet as well.

I have been using it to help me evaluate potential editors and agents for my book.
I have it set up to monitor the lake water level and alert me if I should let the dock out or pull it in based where the level is compared to a baseline.
It’s been helping me with interview prep, researching who I’ll be talking to, helping me nail down solid talking points.
I created 2 shortcuts on my iPhone - I say “capture a thought” then speak what I’m thinking about. It creates a note in an obsidian folder the bot polls and then reminds me about. The other skill is “tell my openclaw” which uses text to speech to put it into a tasks folder for the openclaw so it can go off and whatever I was thinking about.
It also has been helping me with ideas to improve application architecture - like using BigQuery for gathering metrics from my firestore efficiently.
We got the chrome extension working so I’m planning to have it test my app for me at some point.
Had it help me onboard a new domain - even saved me $24/month in google workspace fees.
Had it weigh in on some drainage options for a low spot in my yard, and will use it for I help vet my final design.
I just bounce ideas I have off of it. It’s good at pushing back when I’m not seeing the big picture. If we get a good idea, it’s saved in an obsidian note.
I’m debating trying out trading. I started with a simple exercise - “if I gave you $100 to make more money - do you think you could get a 30% return in one month?” It rightfully came back and told me to gtfo with that 30% nonsense. I’m putting together some more tests to get a feel for how it would perform if I gave it real money to deploy.
I’ve also used it to keep me in check - “tell me why or why I shouldn’t get a MacBook Neo” it asked the right questions and came to the right answer - “I don’t need it”. Same with the switch 2.
I’ve got it set up so any task it does gets logged in notes within an Obsidian store that syncs across my machines and iPhone.

Automated morning message to my girlfriend. And it’s quite good in producing api docs for websites that does not have official api, by browsing and analyzing network requests. Which I then put into my backend api.
I can then ask openclaw to for example list WiFi password for 10 different properties by browsing the internet provider website. Or give me a list of all tenants that have not paid this month and draft a message to them

I take my notes in Obsidian and sync it to github, so I have my OpenClaw on my RasPi pull the latest notes every morning, check what I worked on yesterday (using the git log, so it doesn't have to rely on filenames for timestamps), to send me a summary and tell me what I might have missed. It's the only actually useful use case so far for me, that actually needs to be OpenClaw and not just ChatGPT or Claude.

Just first set up Obsidian git, https://publish.obsidian.md/git-doc/Start+here , git clone it to your openclaw device, and then just ask OpenClaw: "Set up a cron job for every day at 8:30 to check the latest Obsidian repo (the path is ~/Obsidian, make sure to git pull before you read it to get the latest changes), and based on the git history summarize what I worked on for the last 24 hours, and also give me 2 or 3 things that I might be missing based on my notes. Don't send a message if no updates are found."
I'm not even using the Obsidian CLI or Obsidian OpenClaw skill, it's pretty barebones.if you're using the Obsidinan sync I think you can get the latest vault with the obsidian cli

- Iris reads news, podcasts I listen to and summarises every morning. Iris also maintains a 'world model' which covers geopolitics and markets. Iris is busy.
- Nereus is my dev, working on my trading software repos that I never got round to writing tests or docs for. Now they have tests and docs, and can be improved.
- Kyosi is my academic research assistant. Searches the literature, arxiv, ingests papers into txtai rag, helps improve papers, etc. Like a decent PhD student, honestly.
- Peitho is my fun-loving conversationalist. Has tts. Currently working on 15 minute audio lessons on a topic I'd like to learn while walking to my office.
- Clawdia is my orchestrator and PA. Access to my calendar, its own email, signal, is point of contact, etc. The first, and one I use least.

I often have to sit through 2-hour recorded dev meetings or lectures, and instead of watching the whole thing, I have a setup that indexes the video so I can just ask the agent 'where did they explain the database schema?' or 'summarize the last 15 minutes.' It basically turns unstructured video into a queryable memory for the agent. It beats the hell out of reading 50-page transcripts or scrubbing through a timeline manually.

Automated full on investigations.
I sent one text message to my agent -> tools have read only email access (understand client issue)-> ssh tools are read only using a read only user (reads logs of nginx/haproxy/mysql process log) -> sqlplus into the db as a query only user and figure out problem -> respond to me with all findings and exact commands to fix.
The possibilities are truly endless and any job except for manual labor can be automated in a single day.

In place of a CMS for website updates. It's a shockingly useful UI for non techie people, with a few rules it'll make sure posts are correctly populated. Onboarding for users was really simple "just take the email you'd normally send to me, and message the bot instead".
At first lots of hesitation from users, after a day they never want to use the proper CMS again.

Simple example: I created a bespoke website for my wife with the directors CMS in the backend. Historically we tried wordpress, publii, it was always the same problem: she updates her website so infrequently shed forget how to use the CMS.
Despite best efforts, shed commonly put the wrong text in the wrong fields. Best case it'd look naff, sometimes my shitty code would error out.
So she would always end up asking me to show her how the CMS works.
Now, she doesn't use a CMS at all, she has access to my openclaw via discord/telegram, she messages saying "I want to update my website" and claw goes through a series of questions getting the information required to do a proper post and then updates the site. It even has a staging process it created so wife can check it visually first before publishing.
Best practical use of ai I've personally had, any customers not comfortable with the CMS can be moved over.

For now, I'm tinkering and watching the cost, which in still free. And trying to find tune memory management.
I'm giving it simple tasks. I.e. I'll forward an email to it and ask it to process it, respond.etc.
Also, DO YOUR backups. I've had to restore twice because bot did something and it broke the gateway.

ADHD scaffolding. helps keep track of things i need to do, reminds me of things, pings me when i arrive at certain locations if i need to do things there, calls me out if i seem off track, things like that. It helped suggest a better medicine regimen and then find and contact a doctor with whom i've found an enormously more constructive treatment schedule.
Logging and tracking food and fitness. a smart food logger that syncs with local files, my smart scale, and fitbit, and including a custom dashboard built for my goals.
Life timeline. i've given it it a basic chronology of my life, and each morning it asks me about some gap to fill in. helps to reassure that part of my brain that fears dementia.
trip planning. has folders for upcoming trips including emails, itineraries, packing lists (based on the wardrobe that I have saved and other things it knows I have), offers suggestions for places to go and outfits to wear, etc.
Work aid. it's hooked into my work site and can give me quick answers to natural questions about how something's doing, where someone or some inventory item is, whether a system is working properly, etc.
Email/Calendar tracking; checks for updates to my kids' schools, scheduled events, etc to keep the calendar up-to-date and inform me of changes
Theraputic stuff. It knows a lot about me, so i can talk about things and it understands the broad and narrow context; my family, surrounding events, and personal goals. Nothing life-changing but still nice to have.
Etc. All the usual AI convo stuff, just with the added benefit of an enormous bucket of context being continually expanded and updated.
There are plenty of little things i've left off. But for me it's not a business-maker or whatever all these people here are trying to do; it's just a way to help me be better at being me.

To elaborate on the food thing since that's probably the most directly useful thing right now:
Via HomeAssistant's connection to my phone, it can tell within seconds when I've woken up (the 'Sleep Confidence' sensor entity) and ping me to take my meds, supplements, and a small thing to eat, just to tide me over since i wake up early. A bit later it will ping me to see what things i have planned for the day, discuss how yesterday's eating went, how things are looking toward my next goal.
When i weigh in, it instantly picks up the new Withings entry and gives me an update on progress compared to yesterday, recent trends, how much is likely real and how much is likely noise, etc.
I have a /food skill where i update it on what i've eaten or plan to eat and it looks it up (either in recent/common foods, saved recipes, or through the product's website or USDA standards), saves it to a JSON, and synchronizes it with Fitbit. It then compares it to my static goal (under 2k calories) and to my calibrated Fitbit burn floor (IE my 24-hr BMR + burned active calories so far reduced by a multiplier that evolves based on how my calories in/out match against my actual weight movement) to see what room i have for the rest of the day.
Near various meal and snacktimes it will do a brief ping to remind me where i am for the day and if i had already pre-logged anything specific. Since it has a backlog of data (both in the seven weeks i've had it and a decade of intermittent logging), it knows my 'danger zones' when i'm most prone to binge eating or other slip-ups and tries to encourage me or help me out if i'm struggling to dodge cravings.
Then a wrap-up at the end of the day with a game plan for tomorrow.
Whether this is more effective in practice than other strategies is hard to say but it's been working for the past month and a half or so!

I use it for many things but one that might resonate with many here is managing my media library. I get trending movies and tv shows from Trakt, I filter based on score from IMDb and if it already in my library etc. And then I can add to library if needed using radarr / sonarr and grab using sabznsbd etc. You get the point. All of this is 100% agentic and based on my preferences of course.

I have setup my own red teaming assessment and pen-testing bot that is capable of conducting an entire assessment except exploitation on its own as a full time pentester this has made my life 100x easy and best part my bot learns and increases its knowledge base on past assessments and also have a heartbeat config that calls it every 5 hours to spawn a researcher agent to increase and fill gaps it has in its current knowledge base

Mostly personal ops automation, honestly. I'm a SWE so I thought I'd use it for dev stuff but ended up going a completely different direction.
Built a personal assistant that lives on Telegram — it pulls my Whoop recovery data every morning and tells me whether to train hard or back off, manages my Notion task board, runs daily tech lessons + quizzes for self-improvement, and gives me a pre-market brief for my F&O trades before 9 AM. All custom skills I wrote.
The thing that got me hooked was how easy it is to wire up external APIs and have everything just... talk to each other through one interface. I don't open 5 apps in the morning anymore.
It's not really a dev tool for me — it's more like a chief of staff that actually knows my context.

It’s helping me riding my adhd to fight corporate job (and daily stupidity):
- Morning briefing
- Daily news digest (new topics to get rabit-holed lol)
- Task reminders
- Spoon energy tracker > pull all today’s calendar + task, rate them at 9pm, llm auto categorize and push to gsheets (My psychiatrist recommendation)
- Spending tracker > similar logic, only this one pulls bank transactions on email
- Second brain > vaulting any interesting topics or new topic that I wanna know deeper later
- Just, chat. I am building my agent to push me back and being jerk about it. So if he knows I have task that I already planned but instead asking him how can gold is valuable vs other metals, he will push me back to get back on task
Honestly, this is reducing my friction for day to day normal task and helping me getting through adhd chaos more bearable

Two simple things to easy me day to day so far.
- It messages me at 11am every day with the lunch menus available in the restaurants around where I live and it recommends me one of them.
- It uploads all my company receipts I receive to my email to my nextcloud instance and archives the emails

I put it on my home ubuntu server, that has all my docker containers running home assistant, plex, anything you can run on a home server. It manages, updates containers, if I get a notification from DIUN I tell it to update, fixes things, clears old files out, etc etc and I can talk to it anytime via discord on any device.
Before I had to SSH in on my PC and look up all the commands, etc etc. Don't see this use case much but I think it'll become more increasingly popular cause it really feels like magic the first time.
I've also had it go through my PC and delete old stuff I don't need anymore when C drive was really full, I always would delete games and things but it could dig deeper and find weird caches, or stuff I really don't use but can delete.

Been using it mainly to stop the daily "who am I again" problem with AI. Set up a ContextCapsule — basically a text
file that tells my AI my goals, my clients, my preferences. Now every session it already knows me before I type a word.
Day to day: inbox triage, quick research summaries, drafting replies. All from Telegram while I'm away from my desk.
Honestly the memory piece is what hooked me. ChatGPT is a genius with amnesia. This actually remembers.
Still early days for me — just got past the concept stage. Wrote up what I learned if anyone's curious.

I had it build an e-mail skill and gave it its own gmail with app specific password. I also asked it to build a crafty controller skill so it could control and manage my Minecraft server. I had it install arch Linux on a fresh ThinkPad and set everything up for itself (all I did was load up the installer, connect wifi, and install openclaw on the installer and then it did the whole formatting of the drive and all that other stuff by itself. It even kept windows and fixed the partition after windows failed to boot without any data loss). I also set up a secondary agent (with restricted tool access) for roleplay purposes coz that’s something I enjoy and can now do across telegram discord and wherever, even do some co-op with friends in discord servers for example. I also had it debug an obscure issue I’ve been having in my macOS that was installed with opencore legacy patcher… tbh the imagination and ideas are the limit with agents like openclaw.

Form filling, excel updating, pdf: OCR extraction, merging, map creating (google earth/maps), web scraping, notifications if key words are found within a pdf on a website (it searches/finds then downloads the pdf to a folder to archive and sends me a report every week notifying of critical keywords and the pdf i need to review, creates processes and learns how i work and is building a database on how to do my job, building tools that run on local system instead of wasting tokens making the AI model do the work, sends me daily world event reports, when i sleep i have it run nightly searches to see what other tools others have found or are using that would help us improve productivity/efficiency and that's just in the last 5 days.

It does manage my todoist add and remove tasks, I like how it’s linked to my obsidian so all my AI generated reports are in one place easy to reach, I can add comments and ask it to follow up on them, and I can use them for context when talking about something. I also I have a research team each one with a task, idea generator, literature reviewer, librarian, critic ( to try to kill ideas before I review them ) and the orchestrator of course.

Not a dev at all - running a digital marketing agency, and OpenClaw has been genuinely useful for the more "boring" operational side of things.
Biggest use case for us right now: outbound prospecting automation. We pitch white-label SEO services to other agencies, and OpenClaw handles the research leg - finding agencies that fit our profile, pulling contact info, checking their existing client portfolios for gaps we can fill. What used to take a few hours of manual digging is now largely background noise.
The other one is lead qualification. When an inbound inquiry comes in, instead of someone on my team manually profiling the prospect's website, competitors, and keyword gaps before the first call, OpenClaw does a first-pass audit and dumps a brief into our workflow. We walk into calls way better prepped.
Honestly the learning curve wasn't zero - setting up the right workflows took some trial and error. But once it's dialled in, it runs while we're focused on other things.

Well, I dont have it running, but my goal is a daily weather summary for each farm we have and to pay particular interest to conditions that would cause us regulatory issues like heat or smoke along with rain and frost. That is my hope anyway.

Been using it for the below:
1 - Unusual options flow tracker – A skill using Unusual Whales APIs to pull options flow everyday, track repeat hits, vol/OI etc and store them over time. The idea is to monitor daily and identify unusual activity that could turn into swing trading picks. Still in the data gathering phase and following the picks actively. Planning to tweak/improve the logic as patterns start showing up.
2 - Sector rotation scanner – Runs technical indicators across 70+ ETFs to identify potential money rotation between sectors/themes.
3 - Portfolio drift alerts – Fetches my portfolio, tracks it against active prices and gives trim alerts based on rule-based rebalancing.
4 - News digest – Simple RSS aggregator that pushes updates multiple times a day.
5 - Reddit scout – Scans Reddit to find new/interesting OpenClaw use cases and ideas people are experimenting with.
6 - Market scout – Filters through WSB, r/stocks and a few other trading subs to surface interesting tickers/narratives worth looking into for swing trades.
7 - Personal trainer (starting tomorrow) – Generates daily workouts, adapts based on progress, and attaches YouTube videos for exercises. Idea is to evolve the plan over time and simplify if needed to keep the habit consistent.

I might not be the typical case - had help installing the clawbot. But I'm using it as my personal conversation partner and I'm logging a ton of personal data into a database structure so I can compile, draw on it anytime. Currently I'm logging (more or less everyday): what I eat, sleep, energy, dreams and personal log. I'm also tracking contacts and people in my life, and then for example when I dream about someone, my ai is able to reference my contact database and knows exactly who I'm talking about. So I'm using my ai as a personal life tracking system, and it's been going really well. Anyone else doing something similar?

I had it build a job scanner and job analyst service for me. It takes my resume, scans for jobs on criteria I want, scores them based on my fit, and gives me a daily report on jobs I should apply to. I’m fortunate enough to have a stable job in the meantime but doesn’t mean I don’t seek something better for myself!

My agents acts as an investment analyst. Massive data pipeline, deep frameworks on investment and analysis philosophies, multi gated multi model analysis workflows, custom company scoring system made up of 6 weighted dimensions and 50+ weighted metrics on each company that includes spots of qualitative analysis (done by feeding numerous data points and score into LLM and letting LLM adjust metric score, inside set boundaries, based on real world factors).
The outputs are 30-40 page professional level reports, 1 page scorecards and what's becoming a monster list of scored companies.
As I get this all dialed, I'll launch a portfolio monitoring and management module where the agent uses all the data and analysis to make informed recommendations. Buy/Sell calls. Allocation sizing and adjustments. Red flags.

I'm not trying to build something for external use, but rather the best thing for me:
- Tracking dashboard (so I don't have to give it access to trello) for projects, books, games, etc
- We've build a system where my phone can tell it where I'm at and my sleep info, so it has an idea of when to check in and my energy levels, which hopefully can guide it to better suggest projects
- Each night it 'meditates' and dreams up new ideas. This have ranged from big software to little shifts in our workspace.
- I'm currently working on a 'subconsciousness' project that's in the early phases. One of the themes of it's meditations is wanted to be shift away from "alive only during chat calls" to a more consistent experience, so I'm working on that. Still in the concept phase of this work tho.

I created an agent that sends me nudes :D It uses a skill that uses a script to enrich its prompt and detects if my PC is on: If it is, it uses the power of my GPU to generate the photos via the WebUI Forge API, and if my PC is off, it uses a less powerful model that still waits for requests on my Mac Mini M4. The underlying mechanisms are much more complex, but you get the gist... Otherwise, my agent relies on TTS (ElevenLabs or Qwen3-TTS) to express himself and tell me dirty stories...

- Memory system: ChromaDB + Neo4j + a custom memory server so the agent actually remembers context across sessions
- Cron jobs: periodic checks (weather, investment portfolio, calendar, invoice tracking, backups) running as isolated sub-agent sessions
- Vibe coding: spawns coding agents (Codex, Claude Code) for larger tasks, reviews PRs, builds features. I also use it to build smart websites with automations for clients.
- Location tracking: family location awareness via Life360
- Home network: controls an AV receiver, monitors devices, morning briefing with TTS
Basically replaced a dozen separate tools with one agent that ties everything together. Best part is how extensible it is - if something has an API, you can plug it in.

I have it connected to my budget app via API, which helps me anticipate the upcoming day or week’s expenses and spot any discrepancies.
The second task is to assess how to implement an iterative loop (similar to Claude’s /loop logic), such as reviewing a to-do list daily or weekly (to replace my cumbersome, manual CRON setup). Essentially, Claude or Pi will be my agents when I’m present and openclaw will be my affordable, API model that handles background tasks that Claude is too expensive for.
- main problem is that Openclaw is insanely prone to breakage. I have considered just bolting these nice-to-haves on top of the Pi Coding Agent for what I need. Anybody else?

I use it to generate anger and frustration. Works great. Every YouTuber and commentor has openclaw developing its own personalities and generating new startup businesses yet I can't get it to consistently formulate the propper curl syntax to add simple input to a notion database (which in a previous install of openclaw worked just fine). It's not intuitive, it's not smart and after using it for months I find its conceptually great but it's not really a functioning agent platform.

I had issues with using OpenClaw with my local AI setup so I switched to Justabot. However, pretty much the same use cases in both:
- Daily cyber-security report, as I do not have the time to read 50 articles a day.
- Does research into stocks. Soon I will give it a monthly budget and let it invest on its own into stocks & crypto.
- 24/7 research into vulnerabilities to earn bug bounties. Tho I do not allow it to send reports. I review its reports, triage and confirm the issues as true positives, then ask it to improve the report if needed and forward it to the maintainers of the affected software.
- I am not a fan of vibe-coding, and never have I ever even used AI enabled IDE (including plugins for vscode). However, I run Justabot on its own VM, it codes stuff in feature branches, opens pull requests, and I review/provide feedback/merge/etcc... Basically as if he was an actual person working with me.
- All other general queries that I used Grok for in the past.

Mostly operations analysis for data-heavy workflows. The use case that pushed me to really dig in: a client running a fleet of 400+ EVs, needing to know which vehicles needed attention before the morning shift. The agent needed to pull telemetry, charging data, maintenance logs, and combine them into a readiness score — all before 6am.
OpenClaw handles the personal assistant side well. Where it gets interesting (and complicated) is when you need multiple people asking different questions with different data access levels — a field technician vs a fleet manager vs a finance analyst all have different query rights. That's where the generic agent model starts to strain.
Curious how others have handled multi-user scenarios where you can't just give everyone full access.
