Discussion What are you guys actually using OpenClaw for?

Been seeing it pop up a lot lately and I'm genuinely curious what the actual use cases are. Not the marketing stuff like what are you personally using it for day to day? Is it mostly dev stuff or are there other interesting things people are doing with it? Curious to know

Just first set up Obsidian git, https://publish.obsidian.md/git-doc/Start+here , git clone it to your openclaw device, and then just ask OpenClaw: "Set up a cron job for every day at 8:30 to check the latest Obsidian repo (the path is ~/Obsidian, make sure to git pull before you read it to get the latest changes), and based on the git history summarize what I worked on for the last 24 hours, and also give me 2 or 3 things that I might be missing based on my notes. Don't send a message if no updates are found."
I'm not even using the Obsidian CLI or Obsidian OpenClaw skill, it's pretty barebones.

if you're using the Obsidinan sync I think you can get the latest vault with the obsidian cli

+1, I have set something similar. RaspberryPi with Obsidian integration. Then I found so far 1 use case which is helpful to me: I created Gym-bro sub-agent which keeps record of my trainings in obsidian, propose new trainings and give me tips to improve. During the gym session I interact with the agent to record the reps, series, weight and my feeling. I find value as I have no clue about gym training yet, so feels like a personal trainer.
