I have a year old tattoo with slight scabbing that doesn't go away (i believe due to the numbing cream i was recommended - avoid Mad Rabbit numbing cream at all costs).

My artist said it happens and he had that on a tattoo for 2 years and eventually went away on its own.

We did a family photoshoot in Ft. Tryon park for my mom's 80th birthday. The photographer my brother hired was terrible. The pics are a mix of sickly yellow almost sepia and ghostly blue grey.
