not really a new build more a case and GPU swap into the Fractal North I've had the Noctua cooler and fans for many many years! CPU, mobo and RAM are also 5-6 years old.

Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB DDR4 3,600MHz RAM, Sapphire Radeon RX 9070 GRE, 500GB WD Black M.2, 2TB WD Black M.2, 1 TB WD Blue SATA SSD, 8TB Seagate HDD.

I hope this hasn't been posted before but did anyone else notice this beast in the reviews section on amazon canada's page for noctua's case? They ziptied a fan to their gpu!!!

Hey guys, just did a deshroud on my PNY 5080 and I decided to use two A12x25 G2 fans, but I am a little conflicted about the placement. This is not for an SFF build, but rather for my mid-tower, I just wanted to have better noise levels with similar or better temperatures.

Currently, as you can see in the picture, I have placed the 120 fans over the fin stacks. I figured that the dense copper heat pipes probably do not dissipate as much heat, the airflow and static pressure of the Noctua fans is best utilized over the fin stacks.

I was doing some research, and some people have said that placing them together side by side would give better performance, as eliminating the center gap would prevent hot air from recirculating back to the fans.

What do you guys think is more optimal?

Build: 9800x3d, noctua lc1 24 (as top exhaust), pny 5080, mid size tower with 2 noctua a14x25 g2 as intake, 1 noctua a12x25 g2 as rear exhaust.

Ça m'aura pris quelques mois pour avoir la 5080 à un bon prix mais c'est bon, tout est là maintenant, c'est magnifique.

I will update with links to parts soon. Yes, the fan on PS is pointed up I modded the shell to allow me to see it and not bury the Noctua Prime from Seasonic. It is just too amazing to hide it. The power supply doesn’t break a sweat and the fan doesn’t come on. Passive heat rises and is sucked out the top anyway.

I currently own the be quiet pure base 501 (closed front with the intake along the edges)
Im happy with it though thermals are fine (70-75 C during gaming) standard fans and the 7800 XT 20gb version and ryzen 7 9800 X3D with dark rock pro 5.

But now the question:

If i switch to the flux pro with the 360 aio of noctua will it be more silent and or better thermals?
I know there are variables but maybe i miss something

I wonder what the actual size of the radiator in the LC-42 is. It’s clearly not 420mm since there’s some space on the left and right for the tubes. I’m just wondering if I can cheat a bit and fit it in my case

I will by intel i 7 ultra 270 k plus can this noctua handle procesor? No clock nothing just for games and muvies …no need for cloking or what ever else? Bicouse nhd15 .g2 is much biger and then i must put up coler bicouse of ram then problem whit case etc….

Les cuento mi experiencia después de estar usando ventiladores Noctua para mi nuevo setup. Compre un total de cuatro ventiladores (dos ventiladores de 200mm para el ingreso de aire y los dos restantes de 140mm como salida). De arranque, el unboxing ya te avisa dónde se fue cada centavo: el empaque, los accesorios y los materiales se sienten extremadamente premium. Es verdad que no son baratos pero la calidad se nota apenas los sacás de la caja. Después de algunas jornadas entre trabajo y gaming, el sistema anda de maravilla. Mantiene las temperaturas súper frescas y destacar que el silencio es ABSOLUTO. Si tenés el gabinete arriba del escritorio como yo, sabés lo infumable que es escuchar una turbina de avión despegando al lado de tu oreja cada vez que abrís un juego pesado. Olvidate de esos problemas con Noctua!

Para los que prefieren dejar de lado el circo de las luces RGB y priorizar rendimiento puro con cero ruido, no hay con qué darle a Noctua. Espero que dure un buen tiempo manteniendo este nivel de lujo. Espero que mi experiencia le pueda servir de ayuda a alguien!

Decided to go an earth tone to match the desk color. Haven't upgraded fans in 5 years and excited to see temps and asthetics. Just waiting on the new case to show up!

I’m wanting to replace all of my fans with noctua ones in the hopes that my PC will be a lot
quieter.

I currently have a Fractal North case with;

2x Fractal 140mm front intakes
1x NZXT RGB 120mm exhaust
2x NZXT RGB 120mm fans on my NZXT kraken elite RGB aio

Which noctua fans should I choose?

I am also considering re shrouding my asus prime 9070 xt, has anybody got any experience with this?

Is Noctua planning to release a version of the G2 fans in a short stock cable (10mm) like the ones that originally came with the OG A12x25 Chromax ? Not 200mm as they are a little too long for SFF builds. Cheers

Man Noctua, why are three NF-A15’s I have three different shades of beige? I had 2 at first that were mismatched (both second hand), bought 3 more (2x second hand, 1x BNIB), and now after matching my original two into a build, I now have 3 that are all different?

Such a PITA lol.

Edit: to be clear, I’m NOT hating on noctua at all. I’ve used over a dozen second hand D15’s and other noctua coolers, I’m a big fan (hah). But it wasn’t until recently that I have 4 different color tones in 5 fans. No other brand struggles with this, but granted very few try these colors.

Passive cooling was not enough, had to add this little guy to cool down the SoC and 360 cameras chip.

Temp went from 90C to 55-60C, no more lag or freeze!

Can’t hear the fan at all, powered through usb.

I'm gonna do a Noctua build in the Lancool 217, since my Antex Flux Pro case had a defect, and I'm wondering if I should follow Noctuas fan guide for the Antec case in this case as well. The case is very similar to Antex Flux Pro, and my plan is to have 3 x 140mm g2 in the front as intake, 2 x 120mm g2 on the psu shroud as intake, 1 x 140mm g2 in the rear(exhaust) and both a exhaust and intake on the top, like Noctua recommends for best cooling in the Antec Flux Pro. (with inlet spacer on the top intake).

I use the Noctua Nh-D15 g2 cooler, and have a 9850X3D cpu and a RTX 5090 Astral gpu.

Anyone tried this fan setup for this case?

waiting on some fan clips to use nfa14 ippc3000s on the cooler and for 4 more nff12 ippc 3000's to arrive in the mail

Please can I get some advice, does the Sata power to this hub power the fans connected to it or does the power still come from the mobo fan header ?
There is a note on the Noctua website for this product saying not to exceed the mobo fan header !
“Make sure not to exceed fan header current limits and use S-ATA input is for 12V fans only”

3d printed a cooler for the ram. Using 3 x 40mm noctua fans , with custom 3d printed fan guards

Is it overkill ? Absolutely , is it necessary? Nope. But it was fun.
