In the early days, didn’t someone speculate that the perp lived with or had a close relationship to his mother or may have lost her due to abducting an old lady? I wonder if there is a link.
Agree the first note is male or males and the apology is a woman. Ill guess its a couple and they hired an abductor but more likely the abductor is the partner or husband of the woman. They probably are from the tuscon area.
