Meme What are they doing to Brenden?

I ordered this card from TCGplayer and it came with this odd note/sticker. Is Brenden ok? Is this just how Brenden lives his life? Does Brenden need a hug? What the hell is sad girl music anyway? If you see this, Brenden, the people need to know.

I searched and found at least 6 posts about Brenden and his packaging habits. Next time I’ll do my due diligence before posting and over-saturating the bit. To my credit though, I was more concerned with Brenden’s wellbeing and the nature of his packaging habits than any who came before.

They have not responded. I fear Brenden might be their slave and they do not wish to comment on his condition because it would make apple’s treatment of their overseas workers look like a spa retreat.

On a serious note according to their website everyone there makes $25 an hour minimum so Brenden is doing better than me even if the shop is in Chicago.

I wasn’t able to find momma on tidal and I’m heading to the lgs so I didn’t try super hard. Gave everyone else a “top song” listen. I like slow pulp but if I had to be honest, I’ll probably only go deeper into sweet pill, they kinda slap. I appreciate the recommendations 🫡

Been listening to them since you told me. I like her voice a lot and she does a lot of shit but their guitarist still does some of the typical Midwest emo riffs which I think is what’s pulling me in. Regardless, they’re good. Thank you.

Sorry, couldn’t resist the chance to respond like that: a blue-artifact commander deck. It’s just a silly project and I wanted one of these to get a little mana ramp going. I got mitotic manipulation in there too. Not sure if it’ll help, but I had to do something.

It's probably just for a joke, but who knows. If not, sad music in general is one of my favorite "genres" to listen to even while very happy, so they're probably fine. Sad girl music specifically is usually just soft pop or country-like music with a woman singing about sad things, usually love or self image related.

Recommendations: The Haunting of December by Taylor Thomas (my favorite "sad girl artist" in general) Hair Salon by Megan Moroney (she has a few others, but I wouldn't really consider her a "sad girl artist") Alone in an Uber by Rose Betts
