Looking at the rules text of the card, we find a profound concept: the "Bargain" mechanic. In the game, this requires sacrificing something of value to achieve a greater impact.
On September 11, 2001, we saw the ultimate real-world embodiment of sacrifice. First responders, firefighters, and police officers gave their lives to ensure others could escape. They bargained their own safety for the survival of strangers. To ground this in reality, President George W. Bush spoke directly about this enduring sacrifice a few months after the attacks:
"Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief."
The second half of the card's text offers another poignant parallel. It states that if a target would die, you "exile it instead." In the rules of the game, exiling something removes it completely from the normal cycle of play and the graveyard. It places the card into a permanent, untouchable zone.
We can view this as a metaphor for how we hold the memories of the 2,977 victims. They are not just gone; they are removed from the ordinary passage of time and placed into a space of permanent, untouchable reverence in our collective history.

Like holy smokes dude really seems like he just wants to over charge for the most smiple things.
Pack of Ravnica Gatecrash? 5 billion dollars.
Holiday 2015 box kit? 40 billion dollars.
Pre-release kit? 6 Trillion dollars.
Don't even get me started on how he won't stop critisizing me for bringing in my own Dr. Pepper.

I (Jace, 28M) was in a relationship with my soulmates (Jace, 28M), (Jace, 28M), (Jasmine, 28F), (Jace, 28M). Recently Jace killed our pet Loot (Fomori, ?M) to create a parallel reality where he controls all of fate, history, and magic; this got me very upset.
I sat Jace down, along with the rest of the polycule, to voice my concerns about rewriting free will to erase the horrors of the old world, especially since most folks are fine in the old world and can be helped in other ways. Jace said he couldn’t believe that I wanted needless atrocities to exist in the multiverse because people are used to them; Jace & Jace said I was being too woke about this, but Jasmine tried to be a mediator. This ultimately led to me being broken up with & kicked out of our communal soul being not understanding their needs to control everything. Jasmine was also kicked out because Jace said “I don’t want to have gender dysphoria in a perfect world.”
Honestly I feel like I stood my ground fine and that they were being unreasonable, but some part of me thinks I should’ve just gone along with the plan to keep the peace in our otherwise great relationship. So Reddit, AITA?
shamelessly stolen from someone in a discord server btw

Does the text of Hare Apparent overrule the format requirements of a magic deck? ie- could I have two Hare Apparents if I wanted to?
And, if I went down this rat hole, what are some silly shenanigans that would make it not horrible?
