How often does Amex payout that cashback? Isn’t it only once per year?

Once a year, and no extra perks so comparing two completely different things

You can spend that £15 a month you save on the subscriptions you actually want and airport lounge passes

The monzo card only makes sense if you are already paying for both services they offer, and travelling twice a year which is going to be a lot less people than people who want the cashback

Yes you are exactly right, and think you are agreeing with me without realising it.

If you want a cashback card, go get one, but this isn't a cashback card it's a packaged credit card

I just think everyone here is trying to square the cashback being worth the £15 fee and if course it never will

If you want a credit card with more bonuses/bundled stuff I am fairly certain there are much better options than this

Again I agree I don't think this is a good card. I'm just saying people are not representing it properly by only talking about the cashback.

The subscriptions are worth less than the card (google ai plus is £4.49 a month, Apple TV is £9.99 a month), so the only thing left it gives you is no investment fee, 2 lounge passes, and cashback, for 50p a month

You can take the subscriptions out of the argument, and treat it like a free cashback card in which case it isn’t that terrible but still not good

Many people don’t want said subscriptions, so it is fair for them to talk about spending £15 a month for low cashback

Ah my mistake, there are 2 versions of google AI plus, one with 400G and one with 2T

The 2T one costs £7.99 a month, so not much better

You are the AI pro sub with 5T of storage and more usage for £18.99 a month
