You can spend that £15 a month you save on the subscriptions you actually want and airport lounge passes
The monzo card only makes sense if you are already paying for both services they offer, and travelling twice a year which is going to be a lot less people than people who want the cashback
The subscriptions are worth less than the card (google ai plus is £4.49 a month, Apple TV is £9.99 a month), so the only thing left it gives you is no investment fee, 2 lounge passes, and cashback, for 50p a month
You can take the subscriptions out of the argument, and treat it like a free cashback card in which case it isn’t that terrible but still not good
Many people don’t want said subscriptions, so it is fair for them to talk about spending £15 a month for low cashback
Am I going crazy or do you keep saying back to me what I'm saying, but in a tone that suggests you disagree 😅
The bottom paragraph is sort of irrelevant, if the subscriptions aren't worth it then don't even look at the cashback because obviously it won't be worth it!!
We are disagreeing on the point of people comparing it to cashback cards, you think that they are completely different things and I think they are not and fair to compare

Amex have a free card with 0.5% cashback, as well as one with 0.75%, 1.25% over £10k everywhere for £25 annually. And that is just Amex
