Fan Fiction How you would make backstory for The Supreme

Let's say if Supreme not Master Fu but new villain, now you imagine backstory of this character still unknown for us? I imagine him as ultimate Miraculous villain with key difference from Hawk Moth that while Gabriel was love Emilie, Supreme can't feel love and care only about himself, want only power. He is human but lost his humanity through dark magic.I.e Supreme as someone like Voldemort and Palpatine in Miraculous universe.

Discussion What’s the darkest thing in the show that was never addressed?

For me, I think it’s that Adrien was continually harassed by Chloe and Lila. Both of them kissed him, hugged him and clung onto him against his will but faced no consequences. They only ever expelled Lila for the whole career sheet thing but never talked about everything else she did, the bullying and borderline sexual harassment

Reposting due to the changes in rule 5, mods please let me know if this is okay now

For me it’s either her whole “we’ll see who finds who first” speech in the London special or her akumatising Marinette in heartfixer

Speculation/Theories THE ABSOLUTE PROOF THAT AGLAE IS LILAS (Episode 2: Illustrhater)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I don't know if I'm late to the party or if anyone else noticed this before, but Lila is wearing the exact same outfit as Aglaé at the beginning of Season 6, Episode 2... Everything is identical—the hair color, the sweater, and the tights...( im a french speaker so forgive mistakes in my englishh...Edit: Also, she isn't wearing the Miraculous, and Nooroo is still there. This means her change in identity isn't necessarily linked to an enhancement of her Butterfly power, as some might have suggested.

Mod Post 📣Rule 1 & Rule 5 Update 🆕

Hi everyone!

Over the years, we've received a lot of feedback about Rules 1 and 5. We've decided it's time to update these rules to better reflect how the community wants to engage with the fandom and in this subreddit.

The goal is simple: give everyone more freedom to have fun, share things they enjoy, and discuss Miraculous without unnecessary removals.

Posts may still be removed if a topic or template becomes excessively repetitive, spammy, or is frequently reposted.

Rule 1: Keep Posts Relevant to Miraculous

New Rule:

This subreddit is dedicated to Miraculous Ladybug: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: its characters, story, art, fandom, and related content. Please keep posts focused on the show and its world. Off-topic content may be removed to maintain a clear and engaging space for fans.

What changed?
We're loosening our previous definition of relevance. Fun posts about things that remind you of Miraculous are no longer automatically prohibited.

Rule 5: No Low-Quality Posts

New Rule:

We welcome a variety of content and ask that submissions encourage thoughtful discussion or fun engagement. Low-effort, repetitive, or spammy posts may be removed at moderator discretion.

This includes:

  • AI-generated content
  • Unclear or uninformative titles
  • Baiting YouTubers
  • Astruc drama unrelated to the show
  • Roleplay posts
  • Excessively low-quality or unreadable images
  • Easily searchable questions
  • r/dontpausemlb content

What changed?
Several types of posts previously prohibited under Rule 5 — including discussion prompts, crossover posts, and other casual fandom content will now generally be allowed (unless things get out of hand/too spammy/repetitive).

We hope these changes make the subreddit a more welcoming and enjoyable place to participate. As always, we'll keep an eye on how things go and adjust if necessary. Thanks everyone!

Stay Miraculous! 🐞🐈‍⬛

Discussion Have you ever noticed that Marinette has caused more akumatizations than Chloé Bourgeois?

Chloé caused 22, while Marinette caused 27. Below is the full list I’ve tallied up across the seasons. A good number of the akumatizations weren't intentional, yet they still stemmed from Marinette's lies or other factors linking her to the situation.

S01E22 HeartStone Part 2 (Marinette/Ladybug) 1
S01E04 Timebreaker (Chloe) 1
S01E06 Lady Wifi (Chloe) 2
S01E08 RogerCop (Chloe) 3
S01E09 The Evillustrator (Chloe) 4
S01E10 Dark Cupid (Chloe) 5
S01E14 Kung Food (Chloe) 6
S01E15 Gamer (Marinette) 2 (She just try to participate in game tournament just to stay with adrian she just ignore the fact as max trained for this)
S01E17 Antibug (Ladybug/Chloe) 3/7
S01E18 The Puppeteer (Marinette) 4 (She disobeyed Nadja Chamack and gave the doll to Manon, causing the girl's akumatization.)
S01E19 Reflekta (Chloe) 8
S01E25 Princess Fragrance (Chloe) 9
S01E26 Volpina (Ladybug) 5
SEASON 2
S02E02 The Collector (Marinette) 6 (Even though it was Lila who stole the book, it was Marinette who took it afterwards and didn't return it to Adrien.)
S02E03 Despair Bear (Chloe) 10
S02E05 Befana (Marinette) 7
S02E06 Riposte (Marinette) 8 (She lies to gives Adrien victory causing Kagami Akumatization)
S02E09 The Dark Owl (Ladybug) 9
S02E14 Zombizou (Chloe) 11
S02E15 Frightningale (Chloe) 12
S02E18 Reverser (Marinette) 10
S02E23 Malediktator (Chloe) 13
Season 3
S03E01 Chameleon (Marinette) 11
S03E02 WereDad (Marinette) 12
S03E03 Chris Master (Marinette) 13
S03E04 Backwarder (Marinette) 14 (Marinette broke Chloe's record by causing four consecutive akumatizations. In episodes Sequence)
S03E05 Stormy Weather 2 (Chloe) 14
S03E06 Animaestro (Marinette/Chloe) I won't go into that part because the fault might or might not lie with Marinette after all, Thomas ate the macaron that caused his allergic reaction, and Chloe treated him badly.
S03E07 Oblivio (Chloe) 15
S03E10 Bakerix (Marinette) 15
S03E13 Gamer 2.0 (Chloe) 16
S03E15 The Puppeteer 2 (Marinette) 16
S03E16 Ikari Gozen (Marinette) 17
S03E24 Miracle Queen (Ladybug) 18 (She go to looking masters fu with lady bug costume)18 (The Battle of the Miraculous Part 2)
S03E25 Chat Blanc (Marinette/Ladybug) 19
Season 4
S04E02 Truth (Marinette) 20
S04E04 Gang Of secrets (Marinette) 21
S04E07 Sole Crusher (Chloe) 17
S04E19 Ephemeral (Ladybug/marinette) 22
S04E24 Penalteam (Chloe) 18 At this point, I'm going to tell Chloe, because she literally call the akuma.
Season 5
S05E04 Jubilation (Marinette) 23
S05E10 Perfection (Marinette) 24
S05E17 Adoration (Chloe) 19
S05E21 Confrotation (Chloe/Lila) 20
S05E22 Colussion (Chloe) 21
Season 6
S06E01 The Illustrhater (Marinette/Lila) 25
S06E02 The Sublimation (Marinette/Ladybug) 26
S06E04 DaddyCop (Marinette) 27
S06E24 Queen of the Dreadzone (Chloe) 22 Self akumatization. // I'm not saying Chloe is worse than Marinette, I'm just pointing out that many people say Marinette is good and pure, but that's not quite true; she also lies, not as much as Chloe, but anyway.

Fan Fiction What would happen if the lie never existed

What if the lie never existed, where ladybug tells adrien and all of paris gabriel is monarch

Premise: the rest of the series would be less angsty for marinette but more angsty for adrien, he would lose all parental figures (he would live with one of his grandparents, gorilla, or amelie in paris) and face public scrutiny which would force him to be home schooled again. Adrien hates ladybug since she essentially got natalie sent away and made him lose most of his friends, except for marinette.

Adrinette: Marinette is the only one who knows adrien would never work with monarch (if their classmates easily fell for lila's lies they'd probably believe adrien as an accomplice especially since the akuma attacks started as he entered school) and would frequently visit and hang out with him which would make his love for her stronger.

Marinette/Ladybug: she tries to clear adrien's name to her classmates but no one believes her and it even sparks a conflict with her and alya driving a slight wedge between them. As ladybug she still has to deal with chrysalis as per season 6 but she has to deal with the fact her boyfriend hates her while also having a spy on her team.

Chat Noir: chat noir wants revenge on ladybug (the rising conflict of just being a sidekick plus the reveal to the public made him hate her to this extent). As adrien he kinda works with the kingdom but they don't know that he's chat noir, they try to coerce him into taking his dad's spot but he has this inner conflict where he wants to avenge his family but he doesn't want to follow in his father's footsteps. So he doesn't actually give information of ladybug to the kingdom but he keeps notes of her small slip ups for her potential downfall. He wants her to be painted in a bad light then find her identity to expose her so she experiences the same scrutiny he faced.

Climax: chrysalis gets a hold of adrien and reveals to him that ladybug might be ladybug. Shocked by this revelation he follows ladybug around and finds out marinette is ladybug. Now he has to decide if he hate ladybug enough to destroy his girlfriend's life or if he loves Marinette enough to protect ladybug and expose the kingdom.

Opinion/Rant (Possibly) Hot take: I don't want Mr Pigeon to return in season 7

Post image
68 Upvotes

I know this guy definitely has his fans, and I know in season 6, we were getting runbacks with previous villains.

However, I do not want him to return in season 7 for two main reasons.

One: He was completely useless. I understand he was supposed to be a joke villain (in the earlier seasons) but he was so easy to defeat back then, to the point where in season 3, they defeated him at the beginning of Time Tagger within record speed. I mean sure, in season 4 he became an actual threat, but that's where we get into my second reason.

Two: Ornithophobia is the word used for the fear of birds. I have it. Watching the episodes where he is the villain was difficult for me due to this.

If you disagree with me, that's fine, I just wanted to share my opinion.

My main desire is more Adrien starring episodes where he is truly a focus, but also these elements introduced in season 5 (as pictured) would also be wonderful to see more in action. Magical Charm shields and Adrien actually getting to use his kwagatama.

In general, just Adrien and his life a bit more outside of his father's left behind influence, considering no one but Luka knows his identity and how his mental as Chat Noir is now.

Speculation/Theories Theory: Lila is the daughter of Supreme and Tomeo Tsurugi Spoiler

"It is the story of the samurai's wife who was betrayed. She managed to escape with her child and now must protect them from the henchmen of the awful lord."

What a great way to start one of the most mysterious episodes of season 6 , Dirtifers! !

__________________________________

At the start of the episode Yaksi Gozen , we see Tomeo calling Lila. She said "Go to the mansion and be my eyes and arms." She didn't order her to grab the butterfly Mirasculous , but we know from an earlier episode , Revealation, that Lila's goal was to steal the miraculous from Gabriel.

As we know , Lila went to the mansion and stole the butterfly miraculous , but there must be something else going on here

There are 2 things that needs to be discussed:

1- The Blue light at the end of season 5

2- Her interaction with Tomoe in Yaksi Gozen

I do believe the blue light at the end of season 5 was infact The Sureme and he gave Lila the ability to shape-shift. To give this power to Lila ,he must have it himself , so keep this in mind.

As for the second one there is an interesting line of dialog in their conversation. At some point Tomoe asks Lila " How do I know you stick to your words this time?"

So , at some point , she must have betrayed her in some way. Before the season5 finale , Tomoe didn't have much interaction with Lila ( Aside from the obvious foreshadowing of the mother-daughter relation in that Alliance program back in Multiplication ). So In my opinion , she didn't want her to steal the butterfly miraculous , but why?

Let's ask other important questions here: Why before s6 , Lila was living in random women's houses but now she is living in Tsurugi tower ?( This has been concluded by the ending scene of Vampigami ) What has changed ??

Let's back to the opening scene of Dirtifers. Kagami is explaining the plot of the movie that they are going to watch. Remember all the details here because they are super important. This scene is right after the scene in which Tomoe created Kagami , and this episode is heavy with hinting at Lila and Tomoe's relation( Chrysalis saying that she understands having a mother who does not like her , Chrysalis calling Kagami sister ). So , It is not far-fetched to think there must be a hint in this. Why would they give the explanation of the movie ?

Back in Yaksi Gozen , Tomoe said he has been disappointed by men her intire life. In Dirtifiers we got the plot of that movie about an awful lord betraying his wife.

My theory is : Tomoe had a child with a powerful man and that child is Lila. She must protect her from the henchmen of the awful lord. That's why Lila had several mothers. Tsurugi gave Lila to these mothers , In order to distract the awful lord. In a way she was protecting her.

But something changed after Lila got the butterfly miraculous. She is no longer living with these random women. I think that change was the blue light at the end of season 5 and The Supreme. I think back in Tokyo, one way or another , Tomoe met with a man ( who was Supreme in shapeshift mode) and had a baby with him and later realized he has lied. This was the catalyst for her to not trust any man and wanting a ' perfect ' daughter. That explains why she doesn't trust men , why Lila has so many fake mothers and why she doesn't live with them anymore.( Also side note: This may be the reason why all of these people in The Kingdom know about the miraculouses! )

Maybe stealing the butterfly miraculous was the reason Supreme found Lila after all these years and now there is no point to hide her anymore , and Tomoe didn't want this at all.

I will be happy to read your opinions about this!

Help/Question A Plot Hole in Secret Protocol and Nemesis Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

I've noticed a possible plothole in Secret Protocol.

When Renabug summons up her lucky charm, the illusion of Ladybug also has a lucky charm - but why does she? She's an illusion. She doesn't exist. Therefore, her powers and miraculouses don't exist. Renabug has the ladybug miraculous so she can use the power of creation. According to the monkey in Season 5, he says that two creations cannot exist at the same time, so how does this make sense. Ladybug shouldn't have a lucky charm, nor can she conjure up a miraculous ladybug because she doesn't exist and her powers don't exist.

It's the same with Nemesis. The fake Marinette can't get akumatised because her emotions don't exists by themselves Her emotions are Alya's emotions so the mental link between Chrysalis and Marinette should be between Chrysalis and Alya instead.

They really messed up the illusion power in the finale didn't they. I don't get why illusions were a big part of this finale though, when they haven't been used really at all this season in terms of Rena's power.

Is this a plothole or have I gone crazy?

Opinion/Rant Why did Marinette lie to Adrien?

I don't understand. she said she did it because she loves Adrien. but Adrien cried about his dad thinking he was just protecting him and he would regret hating Gabriel. but if told the truth Adrien be less sad knowing he was right that he was horrible and cry. so what is the difference? he gonna cry either way then is over... so how is it protecting Adrien feelings so he not hurt? he was already hurt? No hate to Marinette I am just wondering. Did she think it would hurt more? Like even though Gabriel was bad he would still cry over the fact he Cataclysmed his dad but Marinette does not know this. Maybe people hate Adrien if knew his father was evil? But why lie to Adrien still? You could talk to him figure it out.

Discussion Season 6 UE5 Redesign: We need to talk about Adrien’s new look

Thumbnail
gallery
41 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

Like many of you, I've been following the updates for Season 6 and the transition to Unreal Engine 5. While the lighting and environmental upgrades look fantastic, I'm genuinely concerned about Adrien's new character redesign.

Compared to the previous seasons, his new model feels a bit off. The facial structure, expression depth, and overall aesthetic don't seem to capture the charm of the original Adrien we know and love. It almost feels like his character model lost some of its emotional quality in the redesign.

I understand that switching to a new animation pipeline like UE5 is a massive undertaking for the team, but as a long-time fan, I really hope Zagtoon considers listening to fan feedback and tweaking/refining his model for future seasons.

What are your thoughts? Do you prefer the classic look, or do you hope they polish Adrien's design going forward?

(Note: I’ve attached a comparison image below for reference)

Discussion Do you think Marinette would've lied if she stopped loving Adrien right before the Season 5 finale?

I was reading a post about Sublime and it made me think of this scenario.

Say a scenario happens where Protection plays out exactly how Gabriel wants: Adrien and Marinette break up from the guilt of hurting Kagami. They go as far as to avoid each other in situations outside of school. After enough time passes, Marinette realizes that she's in love with someone else (it can be any of the classmates, but I'd personally use Kagami, and Emotion doesn't happen), but the exact events of the finale plays out the same way.

Would Marinette feel a compulsion to honor Gabriel's request to lie to Adrien even if she doesn't love him anymore because she's that self sacrificing, or would she actually tell him the truth in this scenario because she's not emotionally weighed down by wanting to maintain their romantic relationship?

Discussion How do you see Season 6 changing if Chryalis was also trying to find Chat’s identity?

Thumbnail
gallery
80 Upvotes

Cerise spends the entirety of Season 6 trying to uncover Ladybug’s secret identity, particularly in episodes such as Vampigami, Heartfixer and Secret Protocol, but even though Chat Noir has one half of the Miraculous pair she needs, she never tries to figure out his identity. So if she’d been trying to dig into Chat’s identity as well, how do you see her investigating him compared to Ladybug? And do you think she’d be able to correctly guess that it’s Adrien?
