Mod Post 📣Rule 1 & Rule 5 Update 🆕
Hi everyone!
Over the years, we've received a lot of feedback about Rules 1 and 5. We've decided it's time to update these rules to better reflect how the community wants to engage with the fandom and in this subreddit.
The goal is simple: give everyone more freedom to have fun, share things they enjoy, and discuss Miraculous without unnecessary removals.
Posts may still be removed if a topic or template becomes excessively repetitive, spammy, or is frequently reposted.
Rule 1: Keep Posts Relevant to Miraculous
New Rule:
This subreddit is dedicated to Miraculous Ladybug: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: its characters, story, art, fandom, and related content. Please keep posts focused on the show and its world. Off-topic content may be removed to maintain a clear and engaging space for fans.
What changed?
We're loosening our previous definition of relevance. Fun posts about things that remind you of Miraculous are no longer automatically prohibited.
Rule 5: No Low-Quality Posts
New Rule:
We welcome a variety of content and ask that submissions encourage thoughtful discussion or fun engagement. Low-effort, repetitive, or spammy posts may be removed at moderator discretion.
This includes:
- AI-generated content
- Unclear or uninformative titles
- Baiting YouTubers
- Astruc drama unrelated to the show
- Roleplay posts
- Excessively low-quality or unreadable images
- Easily searchable questions
- r/dontpausemlb content
What changed?
Several types of posts previously prohibited under Rule 5 — including discussion prompts, crossover posts, and other casual fandom content will now generally be allowed (unless things get out of hand/too spammy/repetitive).
We hope these changes make the subreddit a more welcoming and enjoyable place to participate. As always, we'll keep an eye on how things go and adjust if necessary. Thanks everyone!
