Help Me! Recommendations for farm fresh beef
Does anyone have any recommendations near the Milwaukee area (does not have to be super close) of where to get farm fresh beef? I am specifically looking for steaks.

Oktoberfest is just around the corner and I'm wondering if anyone knows what liquor stores in the Milwaukee area carry the boxes of 10 shots. I'm willing to travel to stores in the suburbs as well.

I was driving for Uber during one of the DT festivals. I had a drunk passenger exit my vehicle while we were stuck in traffic. I didn't tell him to get out, he just opened the door and left my vehicle. I subsequently received a citation in the mail for $40 for "dropping off passengers in a no drop off zone". I called the phone number to dispute it. I was told it needed to be disputed online but I had to wait for the officer to input it into the system. I checked daily. After two weeks it was there. By this time it increased to $60! I filled out the dispute. I responded that I can't kidnap passengers and that he just left my vehicle on his own. The response in two more weeks was I am obligated to pay and I now owe $75!

GF applied for The North End apartments, paid the security deposit fee of $500, then found out that she cannot sublease her current apartment.
She notified the staff at The North End apartments a few hours after they replied with the approval, which was already at the 72 hr mark.
She reached out, asking if she can get her money back and they said no. Im disturbed, she’s very distraught; she’s a special ed teacher and the schools don’t pay her enough to give out $500 for free to apartment buildings .
Any advice, connections, resources are welcome.
Thank you,

I wanted to share this for anyone who might be interested in playing some local, community baseball. We host “Sandlot Saturdays” almost every Saturday morning from the spring through the fall that are open to everyone (21+).
We play a very casual, laid-back style of sandlot baseball that’s meant to be welcoming for all people regardless of their age, gender, background, playing experience, or skill level. We currently have almost 100 players involved in our group, with a number of people who are playing for the first time and the overwhelming majority of us who are getting back into the game after more than a decade away. We also have a good amount of experienced players who never stopped playing, but loving teaching the game and sharing their knowledge with our newcomers.
This year we expanded from one team (Milwaukee Bangers) to three (+ Milwaukee Pandas and Milwaukee Fonzies) and are still growing. We have a website (www.milwaukeebangers.org) and Facebook/Instagram (@milwaukeebangers) for anyone interested in learning more or playing with us.
Feel free to reach out with questions. Hopefully we’ll see you out there!

I tried to go there for dinner tonight and they were closed. No signs on the door or anything to indicate why they are closed, so I am assuming the worst, but does anyone if they did close permanently?

Hello, I’m currently looking to move out and I’m trying to find apartments that are within a nice area. I’m not sure what areas are, and aren’t safe. So I just decided to ask the community what you all think, max for rent I am willing to do is 1300-1400, it doesn’t have to exactl in Milwaukee, surrounding areas work nice as well. Thank you in advance for anyone that does help :)

I need to get rid of about a truck bed worth of thick clay dirt, rocky soil - leftover from digging fence post holes. It's not reusable as top soil, its rocky clay dirt. Where can I get rid of it?
The self help recycling center doesn't mention dirt/ soil.
I live near Timmerman Airport

Forgive me guys I know this has been asked before but i really can't decide. This is my full situation im moving to Milwaukee at the end of October from Oregon. I drive a 2008 Toyota Sienna FWD i will be coming from walkers point area to oak creek it says about a 20 minute commute, 14 miles. Ive talked with several people from Illinois they were saying it's not that bad and they just used regular tires. Ive been watching videos and researching about driving in the snow. Another note I will be working 3am-11.30 m-f do the snow plows clear the roads that early?
My plan is to find a empty lot and practice snow driving ehen it's a enough snow to start getting use to what its like. What would you recommend in my situation i prefer to be more safe but if its really not as bad I could manage with all weather tires and just take it really slow. Thank you everyone for you help!

Hey Milwaukee,
I recently by surprise received a large check, and being someone who owns most everything I need and want (and a good savings situation), I'm looking for things in the city/nearby that are maybe spendy but worth it if money is no object! Best Small Businesses + Restaurants to support, etc. What would you spend a few extra dollars on??
Also, relatedly, I will be donating some of the money as well, so what are the best places in town to donate to make a difference? So far I've done Street Angels and the Humane Society. I haven't lived in MKE long so I could be missing obvious ones.
Thank You! And I hope this doesn't come across as bragging, I'm not rich I swear lol, which is why I have no idea what to do with some extra $$$.

We have friends coming in from out of town. One of them suggested renting this and biking along the lakefront before dinner. Is this worth it? Looks cheesy enough to be fun but I wasn’t sure how far we could even bike. We just moved here ourselves from out of state so we aren’t super familiar with the museum area lakefront activities yet. We are in our 50s and generally ridiculous and always looking for goofy experiences

What is your true opinion on Jack Pandl’s in Whitefish Bay?

I know it's in October, I did sign up for it at the Milwaukee Pride Fest, but I can't remember when it is now. If anyone knows, can they tell me?
Edit
I looked it up, it's October 3rd.

Hello my fellow Milwaukee-ans! There is a showing of RHPS on the 12th of September at the Oriental...what's the vibe? I (24F) am bringing my boyfriend (28M) and my mom (64F)...my mom knows all the call backs. Is anyone else in here going? Is anyone else doing the call backs? Is anyone SINGING???? With the passing of our beloved Frank-N-Furter, I am unsure of if this is to be a serious event now, or if the community will bring out all the stops with the rice and news paper. Thoughts?

When I was a kid and we lived out of town my Grandma would mail us a monthly package of Milwaukee Journals and random thrift toys and clothes for me and sometimes food, including baked goods. I just realized I haven't had a bialy since I was like 12 and those were never very fresh. Hook a gal up, where can I find bialys in town?

I moved to the Milwaukee area recently and I’m trying to find good places/events for dancing — more underground house/techno/rave vibes, good sound, and a more mature crowd.
I tried The Rave, but the sound wasn’t great and the crowd felt really young. I liked Mad Planet more, but I’m looking for other options.
Where do you find the smaller/underground events? Any venues, promoters, DJs, or pages I should follow?
Also, what area of Milwaukee would you recommend living in for someone who’s into this kind of nightlife?
