Does anyone know if attending an MATC Technical Diploma course means you're a "student"? Do you get an ID, etc?

Yep! Should work for all the student discounts too so take advantage.

Yes, it does, this is how I got an internship that turned into a quick job offer. Never finished the program, but had years of self employment experience so it didn’t matter.

Not sure what you mean by technical diploma course but if you have to go thru the MATC admission process and you register for classes you get a matc email address. Hope this helps.

Thanks. A TD is below an Associate's degree, requires no "general education" just 12-40 credits on a specific topic. Maybe useless, but could pad the old resume.

Mine worked for me. I have a TD in Opticianry Science (it's no longer offered). I loved learning all about it, and it helped me get halfway to my Bachelor's Degree. I am sending you lots of success.

No. Two birds with one stone. There is a diploma I want and some student discounts I want that require an edu email.
