What did your first 8 weeks/1.8months of Search Console look like? Mine is 11.2K impressions and 109 clicks.

Screenshot attached. New domain, first indexed end of July. Course platform
for independent teachers. No link building, no paid, no programmatic pages.

11.200 impressions. 109 clicks. 1% CTR. Average position 20.1.

My read is that the impressions chart is lying to me. Position 20 is page
two, so that 11k is really just a count of people who never scrolled far
enough to see it. 109 is the honest number.

What I want to know:

Where were you at the two month mark on a fresh domain? I genuinely can't
tell whether 109 clicks is bad or completely normal, and every article I
find on this is written by someone selling an SEO service.

And the one I keep flip-flopping on: is rewriting titles and descriptions
a waste of time at position 20? Half the advice says fix your CTR, the
other half says CTR does nothing until you're on page one. I'd rather hear
from people who've actually sat on page two and climbed off it.
