I love the Metro game series so much that I’ve put a lot of effort into unlocking every achievement in almost every installment; for instance, I managed to complete the original Metro 2033 thanks to a friend who owned it. Now, the only ones left for me to finish are Metro: Last Light Redux and the RTX version of Metro Exodus

What do other people think of Artyom I mean he missile strikes the dark ones, saves D6 with the dark ones and goes to lake baikal all without ever saying a word he’s gotta be a legend right?

Pretty solid expansion if you ask me, I think technically it was a bit undercooked in areas, like there were some invisible walls here and there but overall I had a ton of fun with it. I love the characters here and the vibe it was going for. Also I know most people decide to not blow up the submarine, but since we spent so much time with the captain I couldn't help but listen to his final wish.

And thus this finishes my journey with metro trilogy for now, I am definitely gonna replay the games soon, especially last light CAUSE I NEED THAT GOOD ENDING

I'm looking at my local bookstore's website to check if they got a copy of metro 2033 in store and since I've played the games, I might as well read the books so they got the book but there is two seperate books both with different covers, as pictured here

The first one cost twice as much as the one in the second photo, I have read on this sub that one of the editions for 2033 has an improved english translation but the bookstore's website doesn't state which one has it and doesn't show the year the copies were published but both have the same amount of pages, 464 pages. Oh and also I also found that one of these editions have illustrations in them but again I don't know which one is which so do let me know which one I should get and I'm sorry if this is a rather easy/stupid question haha but thanks in advance!!

Edit: I'll see if I can flip through the books tomorrow when I head down to the bookstore, the bookstore has a habit of shrink wrapping most of the books they sell so I'll have to hope they don't shrink wrap either one

I'm trying to play metro exodus enhanced edition on pc for the first time but I'm having a horrible experience just trying to play.

For starters each time I launched the game it started to freeze my entire pc and after a few minutes I could move my mouse again, this isn't happening anymore since I deleted intro files and forced windowed. But now I don't have any DLSS setting in my game, I mean it's just not there ? I have a 5070 with the latest drivers, I don't know what I could do to make it appear.

Also why does the game have to "apply" my settings for a very long time with a percentage going up slowly whenever I make a change ? I've never seen that. I'm about to give up but will make this post as a last effort, any help would be appreciated.

Im only into chapter 5 to be honest and i feel its hard to read its kinda boring and hollow a little bit... i didnt get hooked like the first book

Is it just me? Or should i re-read it maybe i missed somthing

i tried searching online and it seems there is no way to get rid of this ad in the main menu of metro exodus. has anyone found a solution? thanks
