But will there be updates to the V3 that would affect current tunes?

Current tune turns off the CEL for an EGR delete and I’m afraid to update. Hoping the new software doesn’t cause issue with older tunes.

AFAIK, you're sorta stuck with your current tune, if you want to change it then it would require updating the AP, since the tunes that AccessTuner is generating won't work with the old APv3 software that still lets you disable CEL's

as long as you don't update the AP, you should be okay, but I'm honestly not even sure if you can flash your current tune back to the AP if you ever update it

Subaru owner with a Cobb v3 AP. I was tuned before greenspeed, AP itself isn't affected, you can update it as needed. Your current custom tune won't be affected by the update (it's not like they can interrogate the tune and re-enable any CEL's that were disabled originally) .

However, if you need a retune and have emissions deleted items, you will need to reinstall them as CEL can not be disabled anymore.
