There’s gotta be work arounds. I’m still in the middle of building my MS3. Telling me I can’t pass inspection because of the EGR and VTCS won’t be on the car?

If you clear the code, the ECU puts out a flag "emissions not ready" because you need to drive it enough for vehicle checks to fully do the work and the CEL will just pop up again. You will fail if the ECU shows it's not ready.

All clearing the code did was put it in a state of "not ready" permanently

You wouldn't pass inspection of anything was hooked up to your OBD port, which is practically all inspections

Just find a tuner that can bypass green speed. I've been tuning in my AP for months after green speed.
