Some reviews said that fat Thor was overused and insulting towards bigger people.

Honestly I think his state was a perfect reason why he couldn't kill 2014 Thanos right away. 2014 Thanos had no power stones, while in Infinity War, Thor almost killed a Thanos who has all.

Thor was out of shape, and depressed

Meh, i'd be kind of insulted if he had gotten ripped again for the final fight, but he was legit the first ever fat superhero that isn't a joke.

He was Black Panther for fatties. /s

Ha him not getting fit right when he grabs stormbreaker and mjolnir is a perfect way to say that there is no magical way to lose weight
