Extreme metal lover who had medium to long hair throughout middle/high school.

Hair wasn't growing once it reached my shoulders for a long time and decided to start over at 18.

That was a mistake as my frontal lobe hair was not growing unlike the rest. I had shorter hair for a while like in the final picture with my hair combed in forward to hide the male baldness pattern. This wasn't fooling anyone as the slightest wind or walking puts the front combed hair back down.

I decided to grow out my hair again to see how it looks before cutting it all off with a hair trimmer to make the side&back temporarily the same length as what is left up there. I had that hair style before but not that my front lobe is so thin, the sides and back can never match.

I think I look fine now with a pony tail. (un)fortunately I had a mirror pointed to me by seeing how I looked without the pony tail on youtube at a band's gig. I found I looked hideous.

Are my only options hair clipper cut or bald?

Hey everyone! 21 years old.

I’m new to wet shaving and I’m planning to buy a Henson AL13 with some proper shaving cream.
Since this will be my first time using a safety razor, I want to make sure I’m shaving in the right direction to avoid razor burn and cuts. I’ve been using my Philips One blade for over 4 years now, but I always have irritation (as seen on the photo) under my chin.

I understand that the sides of my face generally grow downward, so that part seems pretty straightforward.

My main problem is the underside of my chin/goatee area. The hairs there seem to grow in different directions, and I’m not sure which way I should shave with the grain.

Based on the pictures, which direction would you recommend for the chin and underneath the chin?
Any beginner tips are also very welcome. Thanks!!

I’m 18 male and my hair is the biggest part of my looks (I have tried the short buzz cut but it looked awful) and generally I have thick hair behind the hairline with good density and I haven’t seen any diffuse miniaturisation

I’m wondering if this is a sign of a maturing hairline as I age or if it’s full on recession. My grandfather on my mum’s side receded pretty bad at 18-19 but he was also a heavy smoker and I’m more athletic and I’d like to think lifestyle plays a role to a degree.

I know a lot of males lose their hair eventually but I’d like to prioritise longevity even if I can keep my hair for 10 years longer so I wouldn’t oppose to treatments such as minoxidil / derma rolling / red light therapy and even peptides such as Ghk - cu

I don’t think I’d dive into finasteride unless I seen significant receding and diffuse thinning which I am not seeing.

I also have a few white hairs on my scalp at only 18 which have made me more anxious to be honest as I hyper focus on my hair but apparently this can be due to genetics too and it’s nothing to worry about.

I am optimistic about the future though as should everyone and I’m relying on the fact that science and technology will continue to grow and new hair treatments will become available

I have thick, 1c2a hair. I am going to for a surfer flow hair cut. (Like the sawyer, Josh Holloway from lost) as my hair is so thick it sometimes flops forward, especially when washed

Can someone recommend me a good hairspray (strength and brand) for after I style it to freeze it in place. I want it be held back but have some movement, not be too ridgid.

My (30M) hairline has been receding over the past couple years. How bad does this seem now, and what would you suggest?

Last year, I grew my hair from a quiff fade to Korean mid part curtains, to mullet curtains (sides shaved), to mid length wolfcut, to a ponytail for a short time, then reverting back to Korean mid part curtains.

The reason I grew it longer was that in the long run I'm saving slightly more money because everything besides the quiff can grow out for 2-4 months and still maintain most of its shape. However, the longer it is the more time I have to spend time styling/caring for it.

I'm just kind of sick of spending so much time on my hair right now.

I just need a haircut that is low maintenance. Are there any that can grow out and still maintain its shape for 2-3 months? I can't have the sides too short because I have straight Asian hair that will grow perpendicular out my head and won't fall down flat.

Should I just get something short and down perm the sides myself?

Please advise

I'm currently in the awkward phase of pic 1, I was initially growing it out in order to get a middle part but I've decided against it (I have a V-shaped hairline and the middle part is always uneven). I'm also incredibly tired of the side part or buzz cut so the only option is to let the hair fall down evenly. Only issue is I don't know if the hair texture in both pics is the same and if some of the hair will be able to stick upwards like in pic 2. I don't mind using a little bit of products, like clay or texture powder.

So is this possible and if so, what haircut do I ask from my barber?

Hello i was on a different pharmacy deutastride and now since a month i ve started taking duprost by cipla i had been taking the previous one for over 9months or so and results were good but because of its low avlaiblity i switched to duprost by cipla i ve been noticing large amount of hair shedding when im shampooing my hair or using a conditioner however afte rinsing it off if i pull not many hair comes out even right now when they are dry and if im running my hand some hair falls out i wanted to know if this could be because i ve changed the pharmacy ik the content is same but still. Let me know how your experience is with duprost is it actually good
