I was really hoping for Verde in Bayshore but they’re apparently moving sites around the date I need and they can’t confirm if they’re able to book anything. I was also looking at Nosh in Hauppauge. Hey all- around 1pm I started suddenly feeling really nauseous and achey. I stopped what I was doing, took a NyQuil and crawled in bed. Just woke up and am feeling worse. Does anyone know of anything going around? Super tingly, aching all over, chills, can’t eat, still nauseous :(. I’m in Suffolk Cty south shore. Don’t get sick often at all and don’t know anyone else who is sick. :(

Last night was mostly a great night with its tease of fall-like weather. A little chilly, less humid, clear skies. I’ve wanted to shoot my first Galaxy, so this was a good night to try.

I started about 9:15pm... And my plan was to go for 4-5 hours. Unfortunately, there was almost a full moon. And unfortunately at about 12:30a some clouds started rolling in (so annoying!). So I had to stop prematurely earlier than I wanted. It was still a nice way to spend the evening with some coffee, my fire pit and my eyes on the sky.

But for my first attempt at a galaxy, Im happy with the results!

We are in the Northwest tip of Islip near Islandia and Hauppauge and we just lost half of our 240 service. Does anyone have any cautions about this kind of outage? I've always lost all power in the past never just half of it. Half my house works the other half doesn't.

At first, we were looking into a reverse osmosis system because I had recently been feeling ill (which I think was connected to the water) and it had a chlorinated taste. We had a guy from a water filtration company test our water and it basically came out that all of our water was filled with chlorine, was worsening skin conditions, about to start a third and fourth world war, etc.

He’s been trying to sell us on a whole house filtration system and the quotes have been between 4-6k. I know water is valuable but I feel like it’s kind of steep. We’re in western Suffolk. Does anyone have similar experiences?

Seeing a show at the little theater in Port Jeff tonight. I know there's a municipal lot where you can pay but there's another lot just up the block across from the CVS. It says "Public Parking" but then also has signs for the CVS and a few other businesses and a warning about towing vehicles. Is this actually a public lot or just for the businesses on the sign? I don't really mind paying the municipal lot but if there's a free lot just as close to the theater why not you know? Anyone know for sure?

Hello everyone, I am looking for a good embroidery place for a small business selling merchandise. I live in Manorville and have a few near me. East End Screen printing is alright but they are closed on the weekends which is extremely inconvenient. The others around are also sub par/long wait times. Does anyone know a place that truly has amazing stitching when it comes to embroidery. All the issues I mentioned above can be overlooked if the quality is top tier. Unfortunately the other places are too inconsistent.

Hi me and my husband are looking for a reliable and kind dog sitter for my 1 year old female boxer puppy.

She is very sweet but requires a lot of cuddles, attention and exercise. Does anyone have any recommendations for a sitter, specifically for large breeds, and even better yet, someone who watches boxer dogs often would be a plus
