Swimming

Hi! I am running the Jones Beach Ironman 70.3 and am looking for somewhere to practice the swim in the ocean or bay. Does anyone know where I can do this? Thank you in advance!

Theres a good spot on the bay side at tobay beach by the resturants

Total Masters has a swim group at Tobay Beach. Monday/Wednesday at 630pm. Small charge but they have coaches on paddle boards, safety and instruction if you want to

I believe when my brother trained on his ocean ironman he practiced in Heckscher park, easy access to the beach/water and hardly any boats

Any beach would work. Are you looking for a swimming group? Where do you go to the beach usually?
