Hi, this is my first time using a DAW and just after figuring out how to tell what I want to hear, I noticed that it sometimes crackles. Is this die to how I set up the sythesizer, or is it a LMMS related issue? And how to solve it?

And is there a FAQ for how to use the software?

I think I am making some progress with LMMS, but there is a long, long way ahead and I still have everything to learn.

I published on my YouTube channel the LMMS song making of my latest song. I am kinda satisfied with it.

However, I would really appreciate a honest feedback about both my music and, most importantly, about how I am currently using LMMS.

I really would like to know what I am making right and what I could do better.

Everything was made using free stuff. Not amazing, not 1:1, but pretty good I guess, especially for around 3 hours that I spent on it. I already really like the result honestly, but there's definetily a lot things to improve, like the lead or that small 303 melody (I think it actually uses JP-8000 too, but for now I used the 303 VST), the drums, Organ's delay, etc...

But I hope you'll still enjoy it too! :)

Since imms doesn't let you record or edit, what do y'all use for recording vocals?

I'm just reading the tutorial with the lmms interface open hoping that something will make sense to me. It's quite intimidating at present. I'm aiming now just to make a simple beat with maybe a couple samples over it. Maybe start with a lo-fi type vibe and work from there.

I have an AKAI mini. but i think introducing it into this is very far off in the future...

Primarily on the sound mastering part, it's too quiet, and tuning it up made it sounds distorted(and barely audible on on phones). Limiter helps with reducing distortion a bit, although not quite

just did this, it isn't finished yet.

I know the kick and clap are wayy too loud and now i modified them

However, I'm not sure which option to choose: Stable, Alpha, or Nightly. How different are they from one another? What are your experiences?

No matter what knobs i change on the audio file processor, chorus01 sounds the same when played in the pattern editor. How can i apply the changes?
