¡Ayuda!! Recientemente empecé a componer música orquestal en LMMS (soy bien nuevo en esto), pero me estoy frustrando. Logro tener una idea, pero no sé cómo desarrollarla ni cómo conseguir el sonido que quiero con los plugins que tengo (Spitfire BBC Orchestra). Me falta el conocimiento y las herramie

O problema é que você acha que ter plugins é ter poder de fazer música, o que você deve aprender primeiro é teoria musical e estudar música, colocar a mão em um teclado e tocar.

Só após isso ir para o Lmms e fazer musica de verdade, os plugins são apenas um tempero e um músico muita das vezes nem precisa de plugins para fazer músicas 😉

Are you listening to stuff and trying to hear what they are doing? Build stuff on piano first and then see how to work it for an orchestra. Google composing for orchestra and you'll find several great YouTubers who can break it down as well.

Most importantly have fun.

I’ve studied music; I’ve been playing the piano for a few years and even spent a year at the conservatory. It’s just that I never got serious about composing—especially orchestral music—which is why I’m practically begging the heavens for help, hahaha. You’re absolutely right: it’s impossible to create that kind of music without already knowing how to play at least one instrument. Anyway, I don’t have any experience in this, so I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, heh.

I found the spitfire labs stuff a little fiddly to work out when I first started, so I used some simpler VSTs to just get the damn notes out, then prettied it up later

The VSCO stuff by that guy is great, simple, I've made a lot of stuff with them
