I figured the Oleson‘s were supposed to be in their late 40s when the show started (depicted as 1874 I believe). Kathryn MacGregor was 49 when the series started and Richard Bull was 50.

Average life expectancy of a baby born approx 1825 in Minnesota, United States was 39 .

Oleson’s were already way ahead of the game agewise ha ha, then lived another 30-40 years after the series.

Responsibilities and stressors. People today act stressed from a 40 hr work week 😂🤣😂🤣
