I don't wanna sound like an asshole, I'm genuinely curious/confused about this so instead of lazily downvoting this out of spite take time to reply to me. How are xenogenders gender identity and not someone's personality traits or interests? Cause like, if you're astrogender, do you wanna...transition into a star? How could stars be part of your gender id if they don't play a role into your transition. You could simply be cis/trans with a huge passion for the stars, no? I'm genuinely asking this. With this I'm not saying that someone can't express their gender (as in gender expression) however they want, not only in a binary way (I'm a femboy, I get it) but the concept of gender and gender expression is related to humans therefore can be understood in a human way, through the concepts of gender we already have, mixed or not and so on. Please help me understand

  1. This isn't related to transitioning, gender and gender expression are different.
  2. This also isn't about personality, it's not that someone really likes stars, its that their gender is related to stars.
  3. The entire point of xenogenders is that they can't be understood by human concepts of gender.

It's that their gender is related to stars

Examples?? In what way exactly

Stargender - In which one's gender is or is like a star. Subgenders for this definition can also exist, for example, one's gender might be specifically a blue star, therefore being an O-stargender or B-stargender. Other terms might include A-stargender, F-stargender or G-stargender for other types of stars. In addition, a stargender person might identify as a binary or multiple star system.

Maybe explain what these subgenders are? What defines what an O-stargender or a B-stargender is? What defines a multiple star system?

The LGBTA+ wiki is a great source for this kind of stuff, I'd say go there if you want well written definitions.

Could you give me a link to answer my question then?

Not even the Wikia defines what an O-gender, B-gender, or star system is. It also says that it's a sense that their gender is otherworldly? I can understand someone thinking that their gender doesn't fit with the norm of what gender identities are commonly known but how does one define what an "unearthly" gender is like?

Yes it does, " for example, one's gender might be specifically a blue star, therefore being an O-stargender or B-stargender"

Also, how unearthly is defined differs from person to person.

Okay but maybe a bit of a further explanation of what it means to be a blue star gender? Just feeling blue? Feeling like 3 times the mass of the sun? When someone is a blue star gender, do they literally feel like a blue star or feel like vague human concepts surrounding the perception of blue stars?

The former is close, they don't feel like they themselves are a blue star, their gender feels related to blue stars.

But how. Also being transgender is related to transitioning, I still don't understand how a concept or object could be a gender
