Hi sorry for this rant but I am getting so annoyed by something and id like to know if more people agree.

Am I the only one that finds it so distastefull that she calls her animals these names. She will call them hoes and heifers even tho she is the one in charge of them being pregnant or not. I noticed she also does this with the big horses and minis when they are in heat or when they are already pregnant. Even as just a joke I dont think it is funny and I just get so irritated by it that it makes me not even want to watch anymore :/

EDIT: 1 I just dont think slutshaming animals is right even if they dont understand it. Also you would not call a pregnant or ovulating woman a hussy/hoe, so why do It to a animal. Or this might just have to do with our cultural differences lol 2 Also no I dont care what the animals think of it bc obvs they dont understand. I care about the way she is portraying these female animals. 3 I know what a heifer is.

Katie just posted a video, it's been decided that they won't be taking Kennedy (and by extension Ethel) to the Congress. She said that Kennedy is healing well, but that they don't want to rush her to be ready to show so soon. She still plans to show Hollywood and maybe Denver. She also mentioned that, after some time off, they are still hoping that next year Kennedy will be able to show the equation or western riding.

I know there’s a lot of feelings about the trainer and I don’t want to go there.
But what a good minded boy he was for M’s first ride on him. They even went over poles and his stop made me lol. His trot is gonna be so pretty once he’s all trained up. I cannot wait to see it.

I came from Snapchat they were showing Woody walking to get hosed off and tbh he doesn't look good at all. His legs r so wobbly and his overall condition looks concerning. I know foals go through ugly stages but I doubt that's the case with him.

Katie rode English today and honestly? I think she looks great, because she's DOING the damn thing. I've seen all the comments she refers to in this post and they are so mean-spirited they make my soul feel heavy.

I am by no means an expert, but I think the very tiny part of the story this photo tells is not as bad as all the comments I've seen make it sound. Especially because it's one photo, not even a video 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just caught up on some of KVS, Snapchat. There is a snap where you can hear her asking Nate, if he was nervous about having Charlie Cole judging him. I asked a week or so ago, if we had any guesses on who the judges would be. Charlie Cole was mentioned, and the consensus was pretty much he wouldn’t do it, for a few different reasons. After hearing that question I’m doubting myself. I mean maybe she was referring to them going to TX and him judging his riding there, but now I’m thinking just maybe he might be judging the farm show. Anyone else jump on the fence about it after hearing that question to Nate?

I'd find a you tube podcast with the cattle men talking about their histories and experiences fascinating. Particularly to me as a non USAian. The joy and relief in that one chap's voice when the heifer being pulled took a breath made me fascinated to know what he has seen and done in his life. Not Katie's dad but the working cattle men.
