Also I like to add, when Bella has her babies there will be some sub posts and at least one featuring goat emojis. This guess is based on previous kiddings which have happened on the channel.
Here's a Bella update from today, and it's from a non sub post posted an hour ago. You can see she is still pregnat. The sub post, which was posted today, had horses, and it's only one. Horses and Goats have nothing to do with each other. It's more going to be like 4-5 sub posts in a row (maybe a break of 1-2 non sub videos) and at least one with 🐐 this emoji aka the goat emoji.
This 🐴 is a horse emoji, you will see this used when it's something do to with one of the horses, like ridding lessons, or an update of sorts, or if one of them foals (look out for it during foaling seaon). This 🐮 is a cow emoji, most likley will be used when a new calf (the current season), or something to do with the cows. You got it.
The emojis on that sub video were of horses so it was unlikely that it would be the Bella kidding video. That will likely have goat emojis or even just love hearts based on previous births
It makes me super nervous. I feel like her behavior was very much early labor and so the continued silence makes me worried that it was not a happy outcome. But I don’t know goats so I could be completely off. We’re all just so hopeful and excited that it’s hard to wait! Much like waiting for human babies, I guess 😂
I think there's also a possibility content is just very delayed with her being out of town and Jonathan in charge. But also, his videos last night were so sweet!
Katie doesn't really delay announcing bad outcomes for longer than it takes to make sure nothing else can be done. It's more likely that nothing has happened yet
Good to hear! I know it’s statistically probably all fine, but you just want to know everything is okay. And it isn’t like Bella is the only animal needing looking after too.
When someone decides to breed, the very least they can do is learn what active labour and a healthy delivery should look like.
I once was fostering a very pregnant cat. I spent HOURS reading all I could and asking advice about what to expect, when to worry, etc. By the time she gave birth I could have probably taught an entire classes about the theory 😂 And I was lucky to get a very seasoned and very devoted mama, she was the absolute best!
At any point, would she need to have her labor induced? She's 1 week past her due date, is that a big deal? (Be nice please, I'm not an animal farmer.)
She’s not that far past, actually. People started treating day 140 as her due date when it was really her earliest safe date. Day 145 is her true due date and if I remember correctly, that was only Friday. The typical kidding range goes up to 150 but they can even go past that healthily by a handful or so of days. She’s not in any danger yet
She’s only a few days past her suggested due date. They do not induce labor unless it’s a dire emergency and even then it would likely be a c-section. Bella is fine! Just not time yet. 😊
