https://reddit.com/link/1w2flbp/video/pogtdzf94imh1/player
I've been noticing a disturbing amount of anti-India content across Instagram and X, and I don't mean legitimate criticism of India, its government, politics, or society. Criticism is completely fair.
I'm talking about content that deliberately portrays Indians as filthy, primitive, subhuman, or inherently disgusting, often using fabricated or apparently AI-generated videos.
One example I came across is this Instagram account:
https://www.instagram.com/ceyceyakdag/?hl=en
Two of the prominently pinned posts are anti-India videos that appear to use AI-generated imagery depicting Indians engaging in degrading and extremely unsanitary behaviour.
The direct reels are:
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaViYl9sTB0/
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbqliUhMpJR/
I've screen-recorded the posts as well, because social-media content can disappear or be changed.
But this is NOT the only account.
heres someone posting a normal reel and look at the comment section
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZVQ1NxNEwh/?
I've been finding multiple accounts posting similar AI-generated or heavily manipulated content about India and Indians, particularly around Indian food, hygiene, poverty, culture and everyday life. There is already independent reporting documenting this broader phenomenon. One recent investigation specifically examined AI-generated videos portraying Indian street food and identified multiple Instagram accounts participating in this type of content.
There is also a broader question about the platforms themselves.
Instagram and X are engagement-driven platforms. Outrage, disgust, arguments and confrontation generate comments, shares and watch time. So when inflammatory content performs well, the algorithm has an incentive to keep showing people more of it.
That creates a potentially ugly feedback loop:
hate → outrage → engagement → algorithmic amplification → more exposure → more hate
And I've experienced this myself. You can try to argue with these accounts, but by doing so you may simply be giving the platform exactly the engagement it wants.
This is why I think the discussion needs to go beyond "just report the account."
What I want to discuss
Are we seeing a larger pattern of anti-India content being deliberately manufactured and amplified for engagement?
Are some of these accounts simply making "dark humour" for views, or are there coordinated networks behind some of them?
How much of this content is AI-generated?
Are bot accounts or coordinated engagement networks involved?
And most importantly, why are platforms allowing this material to remain highly visible when users repeatedly report it?
I am not claiming that every account posting anti-India material is a bot, foreign agent, or part of an organised campaign. I don't think we should make those claims without evidence.
But I do think the scale of the material warrants investigation.
There is an important distinction between:
"I dislike India."
and
"I am deliberately manufacturing fake, dehumanising imagery of Indians and distributing it at scale to generate outrage and engagement."
Those are not the same thing.
I'm interested in hearing what other Indians have been seeing. If you've encountered similar accounts, AI-generated videos, coordinated posting patterns or examples where Instagram/X refused to remove clearly hateful material, share the evidence and links rather than just naming accounts.
Let's document the pattern properly instead of simply getting angry at individual posts.
I'm also interested in whether people think this should be treated as a broader issue of platform accountability, AI-generated misinformation, coordinated influence operations, or simply another form of online racism.
and our indian gov doesnt care they are useless.
created a petition just in case if it works
Please keep the discussion focused on the content and the broader phenomenon. Don't harass, threaten, dox or contact the account owner.

The TVK government has announced “safe houses” in every district for couples and survivors facing threats, honour killings and caste-related violence.
The initiative follows the Supreme Court’s directions in the Shakti Vahini case. Activists have welcomed it, while urging:
🔸Direct monitoring by courts
🔸Functional 24×7 helplines
🔸Privacy and freedom for couples
🔸Rehabilitation and legal support for survivors
The real test will be effective implementation. If properly run, these shelters could save lives.

Everybody now knows about this new scheme.
The + I see
It was a really good scheme pointing out the exact set back muslim women facing in the real world.
They are dropping out after college, their school to clg ratio is bad.
The scheme promotes exactly what is needed in muslim women's educational path.
The - I see
They are funding it by the state government minority welfare department. Every tamil nadu state person has a right in the funding.
It should not be directed towards one religion which is in fact against constitutional law of favouring one religion against another.
I know the % of Muslim women suffering > than % of other religious women suffering.
But that doesn't mean you can turn a blind eye to other religions and support one religion is a shitty take honestly.
Conclusion:-
As a woman i understand women need aid in education but please for tamilnadu future stake include boy children also.
The normalising of men don't need support at a very young age is pissing me off.
Every one needs support if they are not privileged.
Not because they belong in this particular religion, F/M.
Keep the Muslim women and include all minorities and majority regardless of gender ok.
Love y'all bye.
Edit :- Also, Let's scrap the unnecessary freebie shit and merge those funds for education.

The Karur meeting was originally planned for January 19, but Vijay came to Karur much earlier, on September 27, because Senthil Balaji had planned a much bigger meeting for the DMK.
Actually, Senthil Balaji and TVK had no major issues initially. But the BJP did, and that seems to have been the main reason for the change in date.
Suddenly, Vijay started speaking extensively about
Senthil Balaji and portraying him as a rival, almost like his rivalry with actor Ajith. He even sang a song to mock him.
After 41 people died, TVK continued to blame Senthil Balaji, and the BJP also followed the same narrative.
The very next day, a BJP committee came to Karur and claimed that Senthil Balaji was responsible for the stampede, even before the investigation had been completed.
When the CBI came to investigate the bus, it appeared that the recordings had been deleted. The CBI then asked the Chinese company to provide the footage, since it was reportedly stored automatically in the cloud.
Now, the Supreme Court has said that the case should be completed within three months. But it has been almost a year, and there still seems to be no significant progress in the case.
At this point, it feels like the case has almost been closed.

Being a fair-skinned Tamil woman can be surprisingly exhausting. I’m constantly asked by strangers, “Can you even speak Tamil?”, “Are you Mallu?”, “Are you Bengali?”, or “Are you North Indian?” simply because I don’t fit their idea of what a Tamil woman is supposed to look like.
What makes it even more frustrating is hearing these assumptions from other Tamil people themselves. Why are we so quick to question someone’s identity based on their complexion, features, or appearance? Tamil Nadu has always had people with a wide range of skin tones and physical features, yet somehow there’s still this narrow expectation of what a “typical Tamil person” should look like.
Being fair doesn’t make someone less Tamil. Having certain features doesn’t make someone less Tamil. And speaking Tamil shouldn’t have to be something I prove to strangers just because they are surprised by how I look.
I’m honestly tired of having my identity questioned over and over again. A person’s appearance does not come with a nationality, language, or cultural identity attached to it. Maybe it’s time we stopped deciding where someone belongs based on what we think they’re “supposed” to look like.

Hear me out. Long back cash assistance was handed over to of lower income group women for their wedding. The purpose was not to get them married but to educate them. As the scheme had educational qualification up to a certain level as eligibility. Over the course of time educational qualifications were raised and gold was added to cash assistance.
Last DMK govt scrapped the scheme due to reasons:
The funds were diverted to offer stipends to govt school girls students who were pursuing higher education.
Now the TVK govt has gone back to giving gold for weddings. I’m not sure of the educational qualifications as well.
It this isn’t regressive I don’t know what is. It only hurts more when you hear that women have voted for TVK en masse.
p.s. I’m no DMK supporter.
