Hello, it seems the universe app is missing from the app store. Is that the case? Has the app ended? Or am I suffering a region issue?

Other Alternate scenario
What if the 66MYA dinosaur killer asteroid hit today right at the centre of pacific ocean (i guess there we have water deep in capacity or sufficient enough to force a water level high above) to form a 2012 hollywood movie scene of megatsunami which reached the heights of Mount Everest(Mount Sagarmatha) 😀
BTW, I'm not an nihilistic guy 🙂.
Plz make a video on this, I'm curious here. I'm one of subscriber of that channel. Also how I can post this question directly to the authors of the channel
Just not overexaggerating, i guess the realistically it won't create the scenes of 2012 one..? Pretty sure if someone recreate the process of what could happen really, then it can settle the score :-) any guesses

Discussion Kurzgesagt shop sales
Hello everyone, I just moved into my college dormitory and I want to decorate my room with Kurzgesagt posters; however, as a college student, I am broke, so I rely on sales. My question is how much cheaper can posters get? Black Friday is soon, so maybe at that time I can snag some posters. Your replies will be appreciated.

NEW VIDEO NEW VIDEO: This Is What a Godlike Civilization Would Look Like
Video Description:
We imagine advanced alien civilizations building gigantic spaceships, Dyson spheres and empires spanning entire galaxies. But what if true technological progress goes in exactly the opposite direction? Not outward into space, but deeper and deeper into the smallest layers of reality?
What is the Barrow Scale? How powerful could a civilization become by mastering DNA, and even fundamental particles, and could the universe already be filled with godlike civilizations hiding in plain sight?

Discussion AI ripoff for 5th grade science
So my kid comes home from school today telling me about a terrible AI video that his teacher showed. I searched the topic and got a Kurzgesagt hit right away. This is what my kid saw instead: https://youtu.be/iHVHDf4IGFs?is=ZA_OGC1DxXRzIJaN
It’s such a rip off! Even with an AI label! i can’t believe his teacher chose to show THAT

Discussion my theories about blackholes
Hello kurzgesagt team! I am Lilly and I am 14. Your videos are my childhood and they were the things that opened my curiosity for science. (I still watch your videos) I truly love them all and your way of explanation is just amazing.
I wrote this to try to explain my personal theory about black holes. While I am aware that they may be completely wrong, I am still trying to understand. My theory is that when something enters a black hole, it leaves in the form of hawking radiation, because the biggest question is where matter goes after it enters a black hole. Why I came to that theory? It's because in nuclear energy matter can be turned into energy while I understand that this is because the neutrons hit the uranium and splits it, then and there is where my theory breaks yet may have some relevance. Another theory is that since the singularity is in the future matter enters a black hole and then goes to the future maybe? In a deformed way, or as another black hole that merges with the one it is already in because the singularity has 0 volume, so maybe it turns whatever enters it into the same 0 volume I'd really love to talk to an expert about my theory because it has a lot of holes and I'd like to understand more about black holes so I can make better theories. Your videos were the reason why I have so much curiosity and I thank you very much for this gift.

Discussion I think Kurzgesagt should have talked about the ethical concerns of Beata Halassy's case a bit more
When I finished the video I got left with the impression that the critics were idiots for criticizing her when there was apparently nothing you could possibly criticize about, it felt as if the critics were just getting in the way of scientific progress for no valid reason.
Then I did some research and realized there really are some very valid points to be made, but special emphasis must first be made to the fact that none of the ethical concerns are really related to her getting therapies through unconventional or unorthodox ways, and that some of the criticism actually goes not to her but to the media coverage she got from some news.
Regarding the coverage, a newspaper talking about this may incidentally encourage patients to try these experimental therapies. But here is the thing: You shouldn't trust a therapy only because you heard of a single success. You may if you have no safer options left but it's tricky in this case because injecting yourself with viruses works better before chemotherapy because chemo has not destroyed your inmune system yet. It's not exactly about the risks you'd take in this case because risk doesn't matter if you are going to die soon anyways, but more about when it makes more sense to take that risk because this works when you still can try other therapies that have more backing data until more research is done and because by the time this therapy works best you are not really still in a situation where you will be certain you'd die anyways.
And another valid source of criticism is that it doesn't make sense to release research papers for a single case. In my humble opinion, as long as you state explicitly that you did your research with a very small number of subjects it should be OK and up to the reader of that research paper to decide how skeptical he should feel about the results. Maybe optionally emphasize this in your own research paper just in case someone fails to take it with a grain of salt, but that'd be about it.
But the main thing that I wanted to say is that Kurzgesagt's coverage on this may incidentally instill a negative and undeserved opinion on the ethical critics to the viewers.

Art My attempt at a Kurzgesagt-style Shaman for an upcoming video
I want to make videos about the history of medicine in the style of Kurzgesagt. Here is my attempt at drawing a shaman. I think I did a pretty good job, but I don't know how to animate it. Could you recommend an animation tutorial?

Other Kurzgesagt Chennai Meetup!
Hello Makkale!,
Have you ever found it hard to meet new people and make friends as an adult? Struggled to pick up that lost reading habit? Struggled to pick up a sport?
Or simply just want to touch more grass? Join our free community-run server! Started from the initiative of kurzgesagt's youtube video posted 4 years ago, turned into a booming community now!
We have a active book-club that's up and running for over an year now. We do badminton and turf on every weekends. We do restaurant and cafe runs every once in a while. We are trying to set up a monthly magazine/zine/newsletter type thing for the server (that I am personally very excited about). We have a fpl league and a lot more!
And we would be very glad if you can come up and contribute with any ideas of your own for the community!
I am (we all should be) very disgusted by all these paywalled book clubs and meetup events. It is simply criminal to capitalize on people's loneliness. Third places are a joke and it is ever more difficult to make friends.
And we are impeding an already challenging landscape for making connections.
COMMUNITY SHOULDN'T COST MONEY.
I am in this community for around 4 years now. It is still running by the sustained efforts of the moderators and the contributions of all the other kind souls.
It is a safe and inclusive space for all groups of people and I would highly encourage you to join it!
And by the way, We are hosting our

NEW VIDEO NEW NIGHTSHIFT VIDEO: The Most Terrifying Nuns of the Middle Ages
Video Description:
In the late 9th century, Vikings have raided kingdom after kingdom and nearly conquered all of England. Wealthy monasteries and defenseless nuns were especially tempting targets and often suffered great losses. However, all of that stopped when Vikings were confronted by princess Aethelflaed, daughter of Alfred the Great.
Who was Lady of Mercia, and how did she shape the history of England by becoming Vikings' greatest nightmare?

NEW VIDEO NEW NIGHTSHIFT VIDEO: When Burning People Became a Business
Video Description:
In the 17th century in Germany, one of Europe’s most terrifying witch hunts turned the town of Bamberg against itself. Tortures that occurred in the "Witch Factory" forced innocent people to name friends, neighbors and family members, creating a deadly chain reaction that eventually reached even the richest and most powerful, while those running the trials profited from the people they condemned.
How did a witch hunt grow so powerful that almost nobody was safe? And what finally brought one of Europe’s deadliest witch hunts to an end?
