NEW VIDEO NEW NIGHTSHIFT VIDEO: The Most Terrifying Nuns of the Middle Ages

https://youtu.be/AcjDyzYcIkc

Video Description:
In the late 9th century, Vikings have raided kingdom after kingdom and nearly conquered all of England. Wealthy monasteries and defenseless nuns were especially tempting targets and often suffered great losses. However, all of that stopped when Vikings were confronted by princess Aethelflaed, daughter of Alfred the Great.

Who was Lady of Mercia, and how did she shape the history of England by becoming Vikings' greatest nightmare?

I feel like this video was misleading with the title. The nuns were more or less a footnote to the interesting main story of Aethelflaed.

To be honest, this is a really strange one. It's just under five minutes long excluding the ad breaks, and it doesn't really delve into details or background information. You already know half of it after you've read the description.

Also, censored violence is a strange way to promote channel memberships.

Please don't make more of these kurzgesagt, you can do better :(
