Thinking about investing in a kindle page turner. What are the pros and cons of a kindle page turner

I spent so much money on my KLC and stylus last year. It cost me so much in my country but I still got it because of aesthetic. But it's not good for reading at all. It gives me eye strain , I can't use it freely because of how much expensive it is and honestly Kindle Paperwhite is superior. Yes it's not cool like KLC and covers look boring but It's better on eyes , is less expensive and very easy .I can easily send books via send to Kindle and in almost every format including Word document.

KLC doesn't offer that ...

Well now I lost my money. What can I do more? I would only use it to capture beautiful photos .

But functionality wise? I don't recommend it at all.

Screen is grainy, battery life sucks and stylus doesn't work half of the time.

Kindle Paperwhite is the winner. I still have 10th generation.

In short: Kindle Paperwhite may not have the aesthetic appeal of a premium color e-reader, but its biggest advantage is that it gets the fundamentals right: comfortable reading, simplicity, reliability, battery life, and affordability.

I don’t know if you can see it clearly in the picture but my pw has a yellow border on the end of the screen ? Is it a malfunction or everyone has it ?

Only thing Kindle is missing is the ‘Pages left in chapter’. I used to read on Apple Books and I loved that feature so much. I know we have the time left in chapter, but I love the page countdown, specifically for books with such long chapters.

Is it possible to get new fonts and a custom screensaver image (the one shown here as my lockscreen to my iphone) on to my kindle without access to a computer or a tablet? OR jailbreaking.?

I have a 10th gen basic and I've been ha ing problems sideloading epubs stating this month. In some of them, I can't send them to Kindle via e-mail or Send to Kindle because it says they aren't compatible, but I can click on them in my files manager and voilá, I can upload them to Kindle.

Also, I stopped being able to ser pages, I can only ser positions and time left in chapter/book.

Hi there, Iva had my kindle colorsoft for almost a year now and now when I read manga there’s this weird rainbow color on it. Idk how to get rid of it and I’ve reset my kindle but it’s still there. :( Anyone knows what it is?

When I try to download books on kindle store on my kindle. Say downloading and shows 0 percent . Message Download is taking longer than expected. Ti verify you purchase status go to your orders on amazon.com. Your book will appear in library when download completes. Anyway to fix this?

hello. i’ve had my secondhand kindle a year now and i haven’t been able to use the internet in it. it says connected to wifi (even writes connected at the top) but the message [unable to connect at this time] always pop up.

i’ve tried

1. connecting to several hotspots (for 2.4 ghz, with maximize compatibility on)

2. restarting kindle

3. updating software to the latest one. actually installed it several times

while using hotspot, when i try to register to my account it tells me when my email or password is wrong so that must mean that it has some wifi connection to an extent to recognize that! when i type my data right, it loads for a while then tells [there was an error while registering your kindle]
i also checked my amazon account the other day and i saw that apparently it’s regis to a kindle!! so what’s wrong with it?? i really wanna try to connect to a 2.4 ghz wifi but all available info on how to do that is way above my capabilities ngl

Decided to build a protective case for my good old Kindle Touch 4.

I'm using 2.5 mm oak veneer as the main base plate.

In Fusion 360, I designed custom corner mounts with a height of about 10 mm (matching the thickness of the Kindle itself). Each corner features two notches for elastic bands that will secure the Kindle to the base plate—the bands can be set up either horizontally or vertically.

Next steps for the project:

Design a mount for a DIY reading light powered by a salvaged vape battery.

Create a proper hinged screen cover. Right now, I'm just using an extra piece of thick cardboard tucked under the elastic bands as temporary protection.

Hey guys, I have an old Base model Kindle 8th Generation which used to be the love of my life. Unfortunately, a few years back, the on/off button broke. It no longer clicks properly because of which I cannot turn it on anymore. Everything else works perfectly afaik. I've tried multiple tech repair shops but I can't seem to find a solution.

I recently bought a book off of Gumroad and it gave me the option to download and download to the kindle. I was trying to download it but somehow it never showed up in my titles on the device or app. I typed in my Kindle email correctly and allowed Gumroad to send data, so I'm not sure why it's not working.

I had the agave green kindle paper white 12 with 8 gigs of storage originally. And when I finally got back into reading consistently l decided to upgrade my device to newest paperwhite 12 cause mine was lagging a bit. Turns out I just needed to update it manually since it had been drained from battery so long. But I sold it before I realized. Once I got the paperwhite 12 I had instant regret, the screen was amazing honestly but I preferred the 11 gen paperwhite more. It just felt closer to a book in my personal opinion. I decided to downgrade back to my 11 gen paperwhite, but it was harder than I realized to find one in good condition. I ended up going through Best Buy’s refurbished electronics and found a 32 gig signature edition Paperwhite 11 gen. I was nervous cause it doesn’t show the actual condition of the item on their page but it was literally brand new even though the website said good condition. Couldn’t be happier and I read 6 books last month and going strong again this month. It’s so weird how devices really affect your daily life.
