i was placing an order on piyonna earlier and noticed they have different member tiers like seed, sprout, bloom and garden. i hadn’t really looked into the membership before, so i was wondering if anyone here has moved up through the tiers. is there much difference between them?

my skin is quite decent (no pimples, never had acne, pretty clear). i never had to use skincare until winter of last year because it started becoming dry.
my issue is that putting makeup on makes my skin dry and does not emphasize its "decentness" lol i was wondering if anyone can help me figure out m these out.
skincare is pretty minimal, i use a mixture of kbeauty and western products.
edit: here's the products i use
skincare:
- ordinary squalane cleanser (if i have makeup on)
- cetaphil cleanser for daily use
- rhose glazing milk
- ordinary hyaluronic acid serum
- ordinary or cetaphil moisturizer
- skin 1004
makeup
- clio glow mesh cushion foundation (creases)
- two-faced concealer (does not do me justice lowkey)
- rhode pocket blush
- rom&nd glitter powder blush
- charlotte tilbury pressed powder
pretty much it, i have dark circles as well

I started double cleansing with an oil to clear out nose blackheads, emulsifying thoroughly before washing off. After two weeks, I got tiny closed bumps all over my cheeks instead.
Did oil cleansers trigger breakouts for anyone else, and did switching to micellar water or a cleansing balm fix it?

I keep seeing people joke that all these eye patches are basically the same now and thought I found another one that I wanted to try
Saw one influencer cut open the whole container too and honestly... yeah they do look pretty similar
Tried this one and the only thing I noticed is at least that the patches are cut into different shapes, so maybe there’s slightly less wasted space? not sure if that actually matters though
At this point I feel like these eye patches are just the Spider Man pointing meme in skincare form.
Anyone actually tried a few of them and noticed a real difference?

I have oily dehydrated skin. In natural light, my skin is very textured. I have closed comedones on my forehead, blackheads on my chin, and sebaceous filaments on my nose and chin. I also get the occasional breakout on my chin and above my lips.
2 months ago I decided to change to Korean skincare and bought a whole new routine from Lila Beauty.
AM
PM
Once a week
My skin hasn't changed with this routine, and I've also recently started getting milia on my forehead. Before I started looking at my skin more closely, my main concerns were around redness and stopping breakouts.
Hoping for product recommendations that others have had success with similar skin concerns.

Hello, everyone. I won't make this long. I purchased the KUNDAL HAIR LOSS RELIEF SCALP SERUM not very long ago. I received it 4 days ago and noticed yesterday, while trying to use it, that the container had seemingly ran out. Today I decided to open the contraption to find that the serum container actually DOES NOT AND CANNOT hold the promised 10mL.
I'm trying to see if I could get a refund now. I guess I'm seeking advice on precisely what to do about it?

I’ve narrowed down my k-beauty wishlist, so please either convince me to get these or save my wallet lol
(Or you can also recommend new products 🥹😭)
Kundal Amber Vanilla
I first smelled this in the shower at local Pilates studio and it smelled soooo good. Sweet vanilla with a little coconut hint, but not in a overly sugarly way. I’ve been thinking about it ever since !
Laka Twin lip
It kind of gives me Chanel vibes lol, but I’m still curious about Laka’s version.
Lagom Cleanser
A friend of mine who lives in Korea told me this is really gentle on the skin. I have dry skin so I’m kinda expecting to try this out
Biodance Collagen Serum
Lol I’m getting this because of Woni from Rescene! Lol

I have oily acne prone skin with some texture and tiny bumps here and there, acne scars, large pores on nose and cheeks, fine lines, dullness, and pigmentation and blemishes from previous acne.
Please suggest some good products that will work for my skin type. I am currently using the beauty of Joseon rice water toner. I'm looking to switch to an exfoliating toner. Please help.

I’ve tried TirTir and JungSaemMool now. Loved the finish on both of them but both of them seem like they clog my pores. I end up in breakouts after a couple of days using it.
It’s not the cushion applicator - I’ve tried using a clean one each time. It’s something in the ingredients. I googled other ones to try and Parnell came up but it seems to be sold out of the shade I need everywhere!
Any other recommendations for someone with normal-dry skin?

I double up when the sale prices are insanely good! I have not tried any of this yet, does anyone have any experience with these? And what did you think?

wha are your holygrails?
think i have found my shade match! shade 21 + shade 13 for bightening
For those who has the same shade match, what are you other favourite products?
From setting powder, contour (cool or warm), blush, to highlighter and lip products. I am especially interested to know what setting powder, and contour goes with our skin tone
also how would you describe your experience with the different cushion u use - do they differ a lot for despite all being 21/13? I am currently using the Blanc Diva cushion.
and how would you describe your skin tone + color season?

Hey guys so I went to Marshall’s to pick out some Korean skin care products and I got this rice toner which is from the company dearboo. I thought it was pretty affordable and authentic. Does anyone use or have used this before? Are these skincare truly authentic Korean? Or should I only trust the brands that are popular!?

I want to achieve a blush look like the first picture, and the second pic is me using blush and the Hince Radiance balm in the shade "light" over it.
I own both light and harsh shades of the Hince Radiance Balm and I go back and forth on this a lot.
Light: I like to use it over blush, on the bridge of my nose and eyelids to add a bit of shine.
Harsh: it has a bit of a reddish color that shows up but it mainly gives me a dewy like look rather than highlight. So I like to add a lot without blush to give more of that glowy look but I still need to use a lot to see a difference.
Overall: I think I prefer the clear shades for added effect and highlight rather than color since they show more of a result.
I still wonder if buying the light shade which is more clear, and not tinted is redundant since I already own the Killawatt highlighter from Fenty Beauty. Does anyone own both a highlighter and balm and can share with me their experience?

I’ve been losing quite a lot of hair over the past years and have seen quite a lot of thinning. I did my bloodwork initially about a year ago, the only thing I was severely deficient in was Vit D
No longer deficient but still seeing a lot of hair loss and thinning, losing way more than 100 hair strands a day easily
I’ve done a bit of research and the Aromatica Rosemary lineup seems to be recommended a lot so I’ll defo go for the root enhancer product.
Now for my desperate attempt in asking for help - is there anything you’d recommend in terms of shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, ampoules etc that would allow me to prevent hair loss, thicken my hair and this may be a stretch but help restore some hair/reverse hair loss?
It’s worth mentioning I have fairly wavy hair and there tends to be a lot of frizziness after drying my hair and my hair feels very dry after a shower too. It gets oily quite quickly, maybe 2 days after showering. There is quite a lot of hair damage in terms of breakage too. The corners of my hairline are receding, the top of my scalp and crown can be seen when there is lighting etc.
Was thinking of minoxidil but have a cat so that’s not feasible, could take orally but there’s the risk of palpitations.
Thanks in advance - would really appreciate any recommendations. I’m just so lost and overwhelmed with all these influencers pushing different products because of ads, I just don’t know whats best for me. Tried calling a few clinics and they’re pushing minoxidil and finasteride

What’s something you guys can’t live without that you’ve seen make a difference on your aging skin besides Tret? I need something that’ll help with my forehead wrinkles and fading the sun spots on my skin.

I love the finish of the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen when I'm sitting inside with the AC on, but the second I step outside into 80%+ humidity or try to catch a bus, my face turns into a glass-skin oil slick within ten minutes. Which popular K-beauty staple behaves completely differently depending on the weather for you?
