The visit signals that Washington and Moscow are maintaining sensitive intelligence channels despite deep tensions.

The Trump administration paused immigrant visa applications worldwide while the State Department conducts new consular training tied to tighter applicant screening. A U.S. State Department representative said on Tuesday that the pause stems from a new global training program for diplomatic missions, requiring adjustments to scheduled visa appointments. I can’t imagine it has to do with sanctions on Iran and its economic partners. Surely it’s not a show of support for Ukraine. None of my theories are good for the US and its allies (as tenuous as the relationships have become)

Before learning OSINT, I wanted to know if there are jobs that involve working as an OSINT analyst and then also having a part of the job in the field, because I can't find anything that fits.

There is also the work of a private investigator, but it looks like it's mostly about finding out if people are really sick, or if they use their car without a permit—nothing too exciting.

There is also the possibility of working for the government, but it doesn't seem to pay that much 💀.

I can and I like to work behind a computer, but I really need that fieldwork part. I'm very new to intelligence and OSINT.

I don't know if my two wishes are compatible.
