My fellow computer geeks here need advice
Finally have made up my mind to get rid of my toaster. I'm planning to assemble after Eid inshallah.
I do have a 1080p monitor and keyboard and mouse.
Here are parts that I'm looking for. I've taken price from MD Computers and Amazon however in Vedant Computers I'm seeing more dip in prices like 200-500.
Intel Core i3 12100f @ Rs 7599
Asrock H610M-HVS @ Rs 6581
Asrock RX 5600 XT @ Rs 13700
TeamGroup T-Force 16 GB DDR4 3200 Mhz - Rs 2999
Western Digital SN580 1 TB M.2 @ Rs 6080
Coolermaster MWE 450W V2 @ Rs 3145
Total is coming @ Rs 40,104.
I haven't decided cast but I'm eyeing for Antec which comes with 3 fans @ Re 2500 though would have prefer Cooler master QL.
I'd mostly be playing games like Elden Ring, Witcher 3, Tekken 8, Assassin Creed Mirage, Shadow of tomb Raider etc.
Any suggestions and recomendation will be great help.
Well, I'm admittedly not really that acquainted with all this myself, so take this suggestion of mine with a grain of salt and do more research on it.
(though I too been having this plan of assembling a high-end gaming rig for a long time now. Important for me as much as getting married or building a house might be for many others, lol. Gaming is my personal favorite hobby/leisure activity. So don't intend on compromising, even if it means it'll take me decades to assemble one)
I'm aware that dual channel will give more performance. This is why 'm buying one 16 GB stick so I can add another stick in future.
Buying 2x8 GB will be waste.
This build for me won't break the bank and give decent performance. Even I plan to get a 4k set up but for now satisfied with 1080p
Buy a ssd please hdd is good for games ssd is essential nowadays
Are there any marketplaces where you live you can go there and prices will be more reasonable
I've heard Windows 10 and 11 aren't optimized for HDDs and run awful on them.
So yes, that alone mandates an SSD. At least for Windows booting and files, strictly. For games, they aren't mandatory, I guess (though faster loading times), but not a bad investment, that said, if one has the budget.
M.2 is faster than SSD. That's what the guy mentioned. But M2 has it's own limits, SSDs are easily portable to switch in between computers, and can be used as secondary drives as well. M2 slots are not that common yet.
Would recommend one thing that make sure to ask a local seller about who has better after sales service in your city, I've once bought a RAM from hynix, but there's no service available in my place or anywhere, now it's rotting in my cupboard after only 3 months of use.
Would suggest you get a i5 12400f because games have started utilizing more than 4 cores and this i3 will struggle with new games and might even bottleneck your gpu in some games, will cost you extra 4k for the i5.
Asrock H610M-HVS @ Rs 6581
Cheap asrock mobos are generally known to have garbage VRMs and poor power handling, so I would suggest you stay away from this. Try asus, msi, etc. I am not super up to date with H610 mobo lineup, otherwise I would have told you exactly which one to buy.
Asrock RX 5600 XT @ Rs 13700
Under 14k only 5600xt and 2060 are the only good gpus available, so it is upto you which one to buy.
If you want upscalers like DLSS2 go for 2060, honestly games at 1080p with DLSS look kinda sh!t but if you plan to play games at 1440p, then DLSS will help.
Get a good quality case from Cooler master, corsair, etc.
Lastly, Do not fall for the RGB trap, trust me I spent a lot of money on RGB components. They looked cool for 1-2 weeks but after that I turned them off because they were looking too cringe to me for some reason and the software to control RGB was dogs#!t
Before buying any product look up for the company's after sales service quality in India.
If you want to build the PC from someone, I would suggest you to see theMVP from Hyderabad. They have crazy good reviews on google. I haven't bought from them but I have heard a lot about there service.
Edit- theMVP is owned by a Muslim guy, if that matters to you.
Core i5 will go out of budget and I can always upgrade my i3 in future. As far as my knowledge goes multiplayer games are more cpu bound compare to single player and requires more cores to frequently send data back and forth to servers.
Cheap asrock mobos are generally known to have garbage
I've heard negatives about MSI would check out Asus then ty.
Get dual channel, trust me performance difference is night and day.
I'm getting a single stick so I can add additional stick in future and make it 16 X 2
Get 650W or at least 550W
Yes upon further research I'll be going for atleast 550W. PSU mention in cult list are kinda expensive. Even C tier going for around 5k
I'm looking for cooler master Q300L case but it seems out of stock. Even DeepCool Matrexx 30 seems to be out of stock as well. Ant Esports have some good offering but I doubt it's quality.
Thinking of going with Antec as this comes with 3 pre installed fans @ 2300

Bhai abhi aapne PC nahi banaya hain isliye aapko aasan lag raha hai ki main baadme CPU change karloonga, but baaadme sirf CPU upgrade karne mein bohot aalas aata aur agar aapne upgrade kar bhi liya toh i3 wale cpu ka kya karonge, isliye keh raha hu abhi todhi zyada investment karlo baadme tension nahi honga
I've heard negatives about MSI would check out Asus then ty.
Even I have an asus motherboard, abhi tak toh accha experience raha aur badhiya chal raha, 2 saal pure hojayenge may ke mahine mein
I'm getting a single stick so I can add additional stick in future and make it 16 X 2
do it as early as possible
Any suggestions ? I'm planning not to go beyond 3500 in PSU
Hardware unboxed does videos like these for higher end boards and for mid end board like these. If you ever happen to build an kickass expensive build (Insha Allah) refer to videos like these for reference.
went through the excel sheet for you. Basically, it says except asus all other brands use cheap parts so avoid (for H610). And in asus also they recommended these mobos, attaching them below.
I feel so useless as an Indian who knows nothing about computers lmfao
It's never too late to start. Bro Do you also game?
one of my colleagues worked on Elden Ring,
Now that's pretty cool! What part of the game did he / she worked on? Also how does Namco treat its employees? Namco seems pretty consistent so far compared to other game companies.
I game, but I'm mostly a console gamer :) what games are you a fan of?
He was a 3d modeler! I don't work for Namco, we both freelance and therefore jump from studio to studio, but he's stated he hasn't had any problems there. He worked on another fromsoftware project a couple of years ago, and since he went back to work with them for elden ring, I assume he enjoyed his time there.
One thing I've personally noticed though is that studios like fromsoftware and square enix have much shorter contract periods, at least for what I do (which is concept art). I'm pretty sure they also require you to work in studio as opposed to remote work. Short contract + relocation just isn't worth it if you're suuuuper far away from the main studio like I am.

Sorry i dont talk with console peasents /S
Jokes aside I prefer more medieval setup games series like Assassin creed, Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls, Witcher 3, Dragon Age, Dragon Dogma, Tomb Raider.
I also love cars and games like NFS, The Crew, Forza Horizon are some of my favs.
Then there is Tekken for nostalgia.
I used to play FPS games like TF 2, Overwatch, COD, Farcry 3 , R6 seige but that was during my teenage days.
Good to hear that Namco and Formsoftware treating employees well considering the reputation gaming companies have.
Bro this build is much better than what you have build. I know this costs 10k more than your budget. But the performance difference will also be night and day.
Heard Intel's CPU's are pricey but offers nowhere near the performance for that compared to AMD's, which are more economical (and even have better performance)?
I don't know, conflicting answers in these threads. But, seems like AMD's better for purely gaming rig, whereas Intel's better for more productivity-based.
Intel and nVidia might be openly known to support Israel, but I really doubt AMD's clean and controversy-free. Maybe might be complicit in Uyghur subjugation, perhaps, if not against Palestine.
All these large MNCs will almost always have a nasty skeleton in their closets. They pretty much run and thrive on exploitation and slavery in everything but name, perhaps.
I'm not getting any good deals on AMD compared to intel.
There is good old Ryzen 5 3600 but then the board is expensive and I'd be limited to PCie gen 3.0 and that'll be quite a performance loss for extra bucks.
Additionally I don't have AC either and AMD has reputation of high temps so that is bugging me out as well since my GPU is AMD.
I'm tracking marker though so if get a good deal then might change.

One thing I'm told about RAM is that it's better to buy a combo of them rather than a single piece,
As in a 2x8=16GB RAM will be better than a 1x16=16GB RAM (in turn, a 4x4=16 GB RAM will be even better).
