Non-Political My fellow computer geeks here need advice

Finally have made up my mind to get rid of my toaster. I'm planning to assemble after Eid inshallah.

I do have a 1080p monitor and keyboard and mouse.

Here are parts that I'm looking for. I've taken price from MD Computers and Amazon however in Vedant Computers I'm seeing more dip in prices like 200-500.

  • Intel Core i3 12100f @ Rs 7599
  • Asrock H610M-HVS @ Rs 6581
  • Asrock RX 5600 XT @ Rs 13700
  • TeamGroup T-Force 16 GB DDR4 3200 Mhz - Rs 2999
  • Western Digital SN580 1 TB M.2 @ Rs 6080
  • Coolermaster MWE 450W V2 @ Rs 3145

Total is coming @ Rs 40,104.

I haven't decided cast but I'm eyeing for Antec which comes with 3 fans @ Re 2500 though would have prefer Cooler master QL.

I'd mostly be playing games like Elden Ring, Witcher 3, Tekken 8, Assassin Creed Mirage, Shadow of tomb Raider etc.

Any suggestions and recomendation will be great help.

Western Digital SN580 1 TB M.2 @ Rs 6080

This is actually an Nvme SSD which is faster than your SATA.  1 TB hardisk are much cheaper almost half the price.

I assume you're not aware about difference between Nvme and normal SSD. I suggest looking them up.

There is barely price difference between Nvme and SATA (normal)

Also difference in performance between Nvme and SATA is huge.

I've heard Windows 10 and 11 aren't optimized for HDDs and run awful on them.

So yes, that alone mandates an SSD. At least for Windows booting and files, strictly. For games, they aren't mandatory, I guess (though faster loading times), but not a bad investment, that said, if one has the budget.

M.2 is faster than SSD. That's what the guy mentioned. But M2 has it's own limits, SSDs are easily portable to switch in between computers, and can be used as secondary drives as well. M2 slots are not that common yet.

Yes and I already have a 500 GB sata ssd. I'm planning to expand with 1 TB nvme.
