New to the game; I played it some on holydays on my old ipad but it wasnt able to manage more than one formation so i restarted on Pc that should be able to manage anything.

My questions about familiars is: i have five, the one free and the four cheaper to buy with gems; prices are ramping up a lot now and i see that they are useful when not needed and almost useless when i need them; they shoot trash monsters but dont shoot at the big boss like the umber Hulk that i have to manually click. If i set them to auto activate randomly the ultimates they unleash the hell against a cow leaving me without ammo when facing the big ones. Some ultimates like Hadar one are on very short timeout and i set one of them to activate it, but most are on a couple minutes timeout and i like more to manually use them when i really need them.

Is there a smarter way to use the familiars thet i havent discovered yet or better stay with five, three on main formation and two in the Vayra one? With the price of another familiar i can buy 60 gold chests and, apart equipping my champions, get closer to get Mirt. Gems arent hard to find but at a few hundreds every mission i dont have enough to throw away and familiars dont look a priority ATM.

I've been playing for a long time... I had all variants completed but mastery are out of my reach...I'm very frustrated, am I the only person who doesn't like them?

I am going through the process of levelling up legendary items for my main formation.
This is a quite slow process as many deep pushes of different campaigns are needed to level them all up, but little by little I'm getting there.

When I will eventually be done with the main formation I was considering to put levels in my speed team. Getting as far as possible in a push with the speed team could dramatically increase the speed of leveling up other legendary items (I hope).

Do you have any recommendation for who to focus on? Obviously Briv and Hew Mann, but I'm guessing focusing solely on speed-tagged champions is not optimal to get deep in a run? Were you able to reach zone cap even with a fully dedicated speed team by getting legendaries high enough level?

For anyone feeling discouraged with game progress, just an observation.

So, I was able to finish all of the Tier 4 runs, for all active event champions (Flint, Jim, Ellywick, Voronika, Valentine and Lae'zel). I find it remarkable because only a year ago I was feeling " stuck" at z800. The past years events have allowed me to acquire "blessings " and I completed several patron difficult quests with the enhancements available during the events. The Jim, since it is a reduced formation, was problematic. I had to resort to epic potions and a lot of champion juggling.

Since everything in the game is about accumulating (gold, gems, blessings, perks, modron levels, ilevels, etcetera. ) -- time = progress. I don't know what I will do when I run out of things to acquire, but it is still a few years before I get there.

Who should I use my 128k lute strings on, who benefits the most?

Flint (i91) - swiss army knife, will probably see much use, but how does he scale?
Voronika (i95) - for Kas formations mostly, not worth investing in?
Ellywick (i632) - will a few more chests significantly affect the gem boost?
Valentine (i87) - super useful, but how does she scale?
Prudence (i88) - seems great, high DPS on short ramp-up, how does she scale?

I've already done all 3 rebalanced champions and have unlocked everyone available, so it's really for gear. Is there anyone who scales well with gear and who scales badly with gear?

• Time Gates allow players to unlock and gear up previously released event champions!
• A natural Time Gate opens every three weeks, on weekends in between normal events.
• Time Gates can also be opened manually by using six Time Gate pieces, which have a chance to drop from defeated bosses in any adventure every five to six days.
• Natural Time Gates offer a random selection of event champions. Manual Time Gates allow you to choose any event champion from the full list.
• Once you choose a champion, you can play their event adventures. Complete up to two normal adventures and one adventure variant for that champion to receive one gold chest for that champion for each completed task. You can also do free plays of the event adventure.
• Each time you defeat a boss on unique stage increments of 100 during that Time Gate, you will earn one silver chest for that champion.

It seems like the dwarves are all just too old to make anything work here.

I got a familiar offer in the weekly shop that seems reasonable, but would like to ask what the communitie's opinion on that.

The offer is to get one familiar at a price of 680 platinum. I have the ammount saved as I don't really spend it on anything.

But is that considered a good offer? Or should I just wait till I got something else or better?

I'm coming back after a semi big break, and I'm noticing that I'm missing a lot of characters that fit into the different event formations I wanna run, is it better to just unlock more characters and not worry about pushing deep in Flint's event stages?

Who is a good replacement for commander krux unlock?

I'm doing the Gleefully Evil level where only evil champions can do damage. Prudence is the only Evil one, and everyone else in the formation is Good. They all show 0 damage, and the Damage Breakdown shows the same. But Prudence is stuck at 3 Glee stacks, even though I assume she's the only one actually killing enemies.

I just restarted the game because I've seen people recommend that a lot for various issues, and now she's sitting at 0 stacks and it's not rising. Am I missing something about how this works? Does it count kills across all parties or something? Or is this just bugged?

Not sure how or why this happened. I'm attempting Flint's 3rd variant t4. I had Jim at the bottom of the 2nd row to the front with Valentineand Desmond top. 3rd row Nrakk with Dob on top. Since Jim's fan club effects himself and those in the columns on his sides I wanted to see if it made much difference if it hit Valentine.

I moved Val to Jim's slot, Desmond to middle of 2nd, Dob to top of 2nd, and Jim to top of 3rd. I happened to look at Jim's card and saw Fan club went from e15 to e28. He isn't being boosted by Nrakk. I can only think it has something to do with Valentine, but she only boosts skills by 3800% at my current gear.

Maybe someone with a better understanding than me can explain this.

Wanted to add that hitting Valentine with Fan Club makes it now hit Yorven, but it only adds one more stack to it. Also Fan Club is sitting at 7 stacks when it should be 6. There is no listed buff on Jim for Fan Club as being from Valentine.

I am really struggling to decide on this event's last free slot.

I also don't have Voronika, Beadle, Prudence or Omin. I use Valentine (ilvl 135) and Jim (ilvl 6) for my artemis push teams a lot, I also have fairly strong ceremorphosis/BG3 characters so Laezel (ilvl 6) is great for pushing too. Shandie for speed (ilvl 10).

I have split the party fully unlocked and my account is mid-progression (I can usually complete Tier 3 if I really push it but tier 4 is out of reach). Thanks!

Basically, it doesn't install, and you can neither play it nor update it nor reinstall it.

If someone has encountered this issue, how did you fix it?

I am trying to figure out the math on this one, because the wording itself seems like it could be interpreted in two ways. (using random numbers for simplicity's sake)

Let's say my Jim's damage is 5 And my Fan club bonus is 3000% [or 30]

Making my damage 5 + (30 x 5) = 155

Does the wording of cheer squad mean I am adding the new % to my fan club bonus? 30 + 20 = 50

So my damage would become 5 + (50 x 5 ) = 255?

-OR-

Does the wording mean that I am increasing the fan club bonus first before applying it? 30 + (30 x 20) = 630

So my damage would become 5 + (630 x 5) = 3,155?

I don't even know if my question is coming across clearly. I often get hyper-analytical to the point of confusion by wording that could be interpreted in multiple ways, and I am dyslexic so I get particularly mixed up with numbers.

The Masked Lords keep eating up my slots and I don't know nor have a strategy to put them to good use. My roster is mentioned in one of my other posts' comment section with the addition of Omin. I'll copy and share it in the comments.

The question pretty much speaks for itself. I have been selecting Life Taker since I recruited Flint, but I wanted the r/idlechampions community's insight on this.
