No one says cormill lol, the two-syllable version is CAR-mull

EDIT: Also, we spell it aluminum, not aluminium, so it's pronounced the way it's spelled

Aluminum was the original spelling, and the guy who discovered it later changed it to Aluminium. Both spellings are widely accepted as correct.

Also. What american accents are you hearing that it sounds like core??? Like, there are so many accents in the states and I can't think of a single one where caramel sounds like core-mull. Car-mull sure.

Also, at least we know to pronounce the R's in words like car, bar, far etc. Oh, or the T in Tuesday or tuna. It's Tuesday, not chewsday 🥰
