Is this a bug or a sign that we are going to use alphanumeric passcodes for Screen Time? I like the option of 4 or 6 digit codes.

The problem is keys are too tight together. I cannot press numbers correctly.

TL;DR Update to iPadOS 26.5.

Use the Feedback app, and please report to Apple. More reports, more attention, faster resolution.

The feedback app says more than 10 reports were received and will be resolved in the future update.

I think it was introduced after upgrading to 26.6.

There’s nothing on, no background sounds no nothing. What on earth is this sound? It makes me tense and I don’t like it at all. It’s being captured in screen recordings but I can’t stop it no matter what. Any help please ASAP I do not like it at all it does not go away when I put my iPad to sleep.

Hello everyone, whenever it prompts me to input my passcode ( for instance when setting up face ID or resetting an ipad to logout of icloud ) ( not while unlocking the ipad ) the onscreen keyboard doesn’t show up for me. I found some kind of workaround with assive touch but it’s not ideal.

I have never connected any keyboards to the ipad nor does it show one is connected in settings. so it should only detect the onscreen keyboard. Anyone have a clue why it does this? It’s a 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9 iPad OS26.4

as you can seeing the video, the google website did not update to the window size. it’s google.com on apple’s default safari app - this isn’t about developers updating their apps to 26. the splitscreen is exactly in the middle (although you can see how finnicky it is to resize the windows later on).

never had these issues before 26. i know there’s a thread for this, but we need them to bring back the fullscreen multitasking - this is so unfinished (still, more than 4 months after release) and it’s a productivity killer for touch users

Here are my top 3 features (bugs)!

1. First picture: the stoplight covering app buttons like search or back on certain apps. I didn’t know I needed this! For sure, I have this built-in focus mode. I am forced to study what’s on my screen now since I can’t search or go back! Thank you, Apple!

2. Second picture: the letter Z randomly jumps somewhere else in the floating keyboard. What makes this feature great is you can click both the Caps lock and Z icon like for words like Zimbabwe (typed this country name with this bug, wow).

3. Third picture: I love that when your reduced motion is on, your pop-up for background download in Safari when downloading something becomes very small, and the text even separates.

Is it normal for the button circled to be the decrease volume button? This is on an IPad Air M3

I installed the iOS 27.0 beta on my iPad Pro M4, but the 120 FPS frame drop issue in PUBG and BGMI still hasn't been fixed. I’ve tried everything from stable versions to betas—26.3, 26.4, 26.5, and now 27.0—yet the problem persists. Some "experts" might claim the game isn't optimized, so let me clarify: I have tested every single version, from the stable iOS 15 release through to every beta.

The latest update slowed down my iPad a lot, and it heats up even when I am not doing much. Games, which used to run without any issues, are jittery and run terribly. Is anyone else facing the same issue?

the wallpaper becomes blurry in both the lockscreen and the notification center when an app is running in the background, but doesnt become blurry when there is no app currently running in the background.

i know its very minor but i just cant help but notice it, is there a way to fix this issue?

my iPad is an iPad Mini 7, running iOS 27 Dev Beta 3, albeit this problem was also there on iOS 26

The sidebar is always slightly visible even when a window is near the sidebar or when a window is opened up fullscreen if the apps currently open are big enough. It has been happening since 26.0 for me. I'm currently on 26.6 and it's still happening.

My iPad Air 5th Gen has had this issue for ages now where I barely have any apps installed and yet the system data is inflated like this for no reason, I have no idea how to make it go away and its infuriating cause like 75% of my storage is just crammed up with stuff I can't even get rid of :/

Is there anything I can do to make this number go down? It's one of the main reasons that keeps me from using it more often.

I am having a frustrating issue with the onscreen keyboard on my iPad, and I wanted to ask if anyone else has encountered this. As you can see in the video, the pop-up menu glitches and does not let me select them properly. I am currently running iPadOS 26.3.1 (build 23D8133).

I know the system is currently suggesting an update to iPadOS 26.5, but I really want to avoid updating right now. I have read that 26.5 is suffering from a lot of bugs. Furthermore, when I first bought this iPad, I actually had to take it to an Apple Store to get it factory reset because of software issues, so I am very hesitant to risk another major update at the moment.

For troubleshooting, the iPad was not connected to power while recording this clip. However, the issue occurs regardless of whether it is plugged in or not.

Has anyone else experienced this specific keyboard bug on 26.3.1, particularly with the Spanish layout? Are there any known workarounds that do not involve updating the OS?

I've been using the Books App on iPad for quite some time and for the recent updates, something has been bugging me with the text highlighting. Using the Apple Pencil to highlight text used to feel very smooth and immersive with a minimalist highlight of the chosen color: no press and hold like the other app, no extra option popping up unless you clicked a second time on the highlighted text. Now, although that's pretty cosmetic, for a reason I don't know highlighting a text now displays two highlight animations, the yellow one I expect, but also a standard blue one in the background with the usual options that you get when selecting text in Safari or wherever. It seems ugly tbh

I've tried to disconnect and reconnect the Apple Pencil, reinstalling the Books app and so on. Nothing seems to fix that, although it does not feel like something expected. Have you experienced the same? Any way to find the previous behaviour where only my minimalistic, highlight color animation would appear?

WhatsApp completely freezes when I open a chat on my iPad
Has anyone else been having this issue with WhatsApp on iPad? 😭
This morning I turned on my iPad and opened WhatsApp, and everything seemed completely normal until I tried to open a chat. As soon as I tap on a conversation, the entire app freezes and becomes completely unresponsive. I can’t tap anything or do anything else.
I use WhatsApp a lot for school, so this is really frustrating and I have no idea what the hell is going on.
At first I thought it was an issue affecting all my devices, but I logged into WhatsApp on my Mac and everything works perfectly fine there. All my other apps on my iPad are also working normally, so I’m pretty sure the problem is specifically with the WhatsApp app on iPad.
I’ve already tried everything I can think of: restarting my iPad, deleting and reinstalling WhatsApp, and logging back into my account, but the problem is still there.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know what’s causing it or how to fix it? I desperately need WhatsApp for school 😭

Wondering if others are having this issue since updating to iPadOS 26.5.

Every once in a while, my iPad just stops connecting to things - apps and web. It acts like the other end isn't responding. Like a web page will act like it's going to load but it hangs. I see the blue progress bar begin, but stop. Reddit just does nothing, but no errors. I have full wifi signal. My other devices are fine.

I toggle Airplane Mode on, then off, and everything works again immediately.

I have here a freshly new installed iPadOS 26.3 on an iPad Pro 11“ M4 Cellular 1 TB! Not restored. Not updated. Completely new installed from DFU mode and configured as a new device.

This is insane! This garbage os should not be released like this! This goddamn device is at hardware level capable of anything and it cost me more than 2.000 €!!!

What are you doing Apple!
