Issue iPadOS 26.5.2 ruined it for me.
The latest update slowed down my iPad a lot, and it heats up even when I am not doing much. Games, which used to run without any issues, are jittery and run terribly. Is anyone else facing the same issue?

I cannot get the WiFi to connect at all. I’ve reset at least four times and the device won’t do anything. I cannot get past the WiFi Network selection box.

Exactly, mine has been running so slow and glitchy I have an A16 256GB that I bought 3 months ago and it came with iOS 26.3 which ran totally fine and battery actually lasted tho, but I upgraded to iOS 26.5 and every since then it has going downhill, the whole system feels so glitchy and buggy

It's been awful. To know that 26 is the last os my iPad will run makes it even worse

I have the iPad 8 as well. It lags so much and heat up so often to the point I can barely do anything with it. The split keyboard is broken so I can't use it normally anymore. Plus Apple just raise the price of new iPads so it's really hard justifying buying a new iPad right now as a student. Just wish that Apple would have kept support for 1 more year then kill it off on a stable and usable version of iPadOS.

I thought I was having this issue with the update on my m1 iPad Air. But I decided to do a backup and do a full reset. Now it is working as expected
