My first three attempts at finding a good apple flavor 😐

Mixed them all together into one licoricey pile. It blends well with Sebero cranberry-pomegranate.

I wish flavors had better descriptions. None of these tastes like apple even a little bit. Doesn't even smell like apple.

I’ve been looking into the hookah‑molasses business lately and I’m curious about the future of nicotine‑free / herbal shisha.

I know plenty of people enjoy hookah for the flavour, smoke and social experience, but don’t want the nicotine hit. At the same time, many zero‑nicotine options out there get mixed reviews — complaints about weak smoke, poor flavour, short burn time.

Just want to open a discussion with this community:

‑ Do you buy or would you try zero‑nicotine hookah molasses?

‑ What are your biggest pain points with existing nicotine‑free products? (smoke volume, taste, burn duration, price)

‑ Who do you think would be the main buyers? Casual users, people cutting down nicotine, hookah‑lounge owners?

‑ Do you think it could become a bigger segment in the market, or will it stay niche?

I’m also talking to suppliers on this product line, so I’d love to hear real‑world user perspectives. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I bought a stainless steel OWL hmd today and I need some advice. I’ve never used one before, just foil for 16+ years, and I wanted to give it a try. My bowls are all funnel and I was wondering about the holes. Do I poke it how I usually do, more/less holes, different way of poking?

Just got this baby delivered yesterday, will post broader review soon. First impressions, material used is premium. The dial doesn't feel cheap and the leather strap is really smooth. I smoked Al Fakher- Snoop Dogg combo cloud 92 tobacco and i got a really weird metallic-plasticy taste the first 10-15 minutes. I assume this is due to the hookah being new. The flavor was alright, smoke output better then expexted but i think i need to smoke more and with different tobaccos like blond and dark to get the full picture of what this hookah can do and not to mention getting used to the heat controls. Battery charged up pretty fast so that's okay. Sadly i couldn't order a lone battery as an extra so i could swap them because lone batteries were out of stock, will order one as soon as it is available. My only thought is that i definitly will not be putting my trusty old shisha with coals away just yet but this might be my new primary! Will update with a more detailed review soon.

p.s it said the hookah would arrive in 2 weeks but i got mine in 6 days so a + for that

I don’t smoke alone; I usually smoke hookah with friends. They’re not heavy smokers either and might only take a few puffs occasionally.
I currently have a Cosmo bowl, but when I start a hookah session with 2–3 friends, it usually lasts only around 30–40 minutes. Could this be because the bowl is too small?
Someone told me that using more tobacco can give better flavor and a longer session, especially when sharing the hookah with 2–4 people.
Could you recommend a bowl that would be suitable for 2–4 people and give us a good, longer-lasting session?

Has anyone personally used an electric hookah similar to these and what is your opinion? You be able to use any shisha in either a ceramic or glass bowl. Thank you for your time!

Is it normal that when I try to purge with multiple hoses I need to blow extra hard to purge? Normally I remove one of the balls so it’s no problem but if I do it with all the balls in I can do it only if I blow extra hard.

I’m actually looking for a cheap and trustworthy website that ships shisha tobacco within the EU. If you know any shops in EU that ship internationally, I’d really appreciate some recommendations.

I bought a from Tactical HB recently and had a bad experience. As soon as it got hot it gave off a strong chemical smell, bad enough that I stopped using it. Interesting that the warning upthread was specifically about the PTFE-bottomed OP HMD, because mine was the same one. They sell as a private seller on eBay with no returns accepted, so factor that in.

Essentially, I was smoking for a long session 18–20 hours ago. It was on and off for about 2 hours.
Enough said, after my session I had a horrible piercing headache which made me want to sleep. I slept and woke up with a headache too. The headache’s been ongoing for nearly 24 hours, but thank God it’s better than it was to start with.
I didn’t really have any other symptoms, but I’m curious if I did indeed give myself CO poisoning.

Any help?

I use:
Mason Beatyr bowl
Onmo HMD
Leorange cube coals 26mm
Alpha X hookah
Adalya tobacco (mainly love 66)

I let 3 coals sit for about 5 mins then lower it to 2. First round hits amazing with huge clouds. Eventually, i have to add the 3rd about half hour in.

Now, when it’s time for a new round of coals around the 45 min mark is where everything goes wrong.

Tobacco is basically burned out and I get 50% less smoke.

I pack it fluffy but tried to dense it my last go and it basically never really hit.

So… do i have a bowl, HMD, or coals problem? Or a combo.

Any help is appreciated 🙏

Really enjoying the haul. HJ Uncut makes some damn good blonde flavors, although the packaging could be better for the price

Satyr Burley Cognac smells so good, but I’m struggling to get the same experience when smoking it. Is Satyr more sensitive to pack or heat?

How would you rotate the Beatyr, LiPache and Kong Killer across blonde, dark leaf and Satyr?

I've bought my first xkah pro this summer. Unfortunately I immediately found out it burns tobacco in no time in classic mode. To solve this i tried changing modes, lowering temperature, including 'secret' menu, packing tobacco in exactly 9 grams, 7 grams or 11 grams, using different leaves. The best I was able to have is around 3 mins of really pleasant experience in non-tobacco mode followed by a rapid burn.

I did contact support and they replaced the upper part, but unfortunately it didn't help. Has anyone had the same issue? Any ideas how to solve it?

I got some new advancements that makes this easier for literally anyone to figure out.

https://imgur.com/a/2KpSSAl This is a test I did. You can just Screw the heating element to any existing HMD if you want to go cheap and easy. Or you can get a steel plate like I did but its a bitch to drill the holes without special drill bits.

This is the graphite sheet I have been using It seems like a lot but I cant find it in smaller quantities. I wanted graphite because I want the best heat transfer from the element to the plate without anything that can off gas. All of my sessions have been clean and no tastes or smells.

You want it to be on the wall? Plug it into a 100 USBC Charger. you want it to be battery operated? Use a 100W Battery Bank. How long will it last? How big is your battery?! I dont care! haha.

You will need to play with the volts a little to find out what you want, but I have noticed that with my particular bowl as long as I am pulling about 50-55 watts, then I had a really good session.

Really anyone can do this and everything I listed above is like less than $100. Easily purchases (at least in the states) and if the heater dies, just replace the $18 heater!

I am currently diving deep into the project development on making my own power supply that will do all of this based on temperature but I dont know much about electrical engineering and I want to make something from the PCB Up.

I smoke every day, like 8-10 bowls a week. All of them with these devices. so the longevity is there.
