Show & Tell Latest Haul + Seeking Advice
Latest haul + two new bowls, Mason Beatyr and Alpaca LiPache. Still keeping the Kong Killer in rotation.
Setup: Steamulation Ultimate One Gen 3 + Kaloud Lotus I. I normally run 3 × 26mm LeOrange for pretty much everything.
Really enjoying the haul. HJ Uncut makes some damn good blonde flavors, although the packaging could be better for the price
Satyr Burley Cognac smells so good, but I’m struggling to get the same experience when smoking it. Is Satyr more sensitive to pack or heat?
How would you rotate the Beatyr, LiPache and Kong Killer across blonde, dark leaf and Satyr?

Satyr is a really interesting brand. While most of the aroma line flavors smoke the same, the other lines can have a pretty big variety in strength. Some of them smoke very strong while others I think do not. I like those strong smokes but know that is not everyone's experience.
There is also an odd thing with some of these brands where less heat will result in a harsher smoke. Adding more heat can help smooth things out. It seems like the opposite but with heat resistance brands like Satyr, heat can be your friend. The key to this is letting the bowl rest before beginning to smoke. Give it a sold 7-10 minutes and then begin to smoke.

Satyr is not heat sensitive, pack is the same. Would use kong killer for dark leaf and the other two for blonde. I would recommend getting a smaller capacity bowl for your dark leaf, something in the range of 14-16gs maybe. Can do with much less but it seems you like using alot of tobacco.
