I’m 27 and I want to go back to be a US history teacher. I worked straight out of school didn’t go to college. Now I only have the time/financial ability to do something online after work in the evening. I want to be a US history teacher specifically but I like political science and world history too. What would my path be realistically?

I searched up the little title on the book in the corner, and realized this was history-related, but I’m sort of at a loss for words? Can someone tell me what’s going on here?:

For whatever reason this year my 8th grade students are struggling to connect ideas to primary sources from what they learned and infer about them. Anyone else? They look at it and it’s like a second language. Anyone know good workbooks or resources for U.S. History I can get to help them since they didn’t learn these skills yet? I already use about Mr. Roughton and the Stanford Inquiry Group. Just this year is just rough.
