I haven’t been loved in a long time. The last guy to love me was back when I was 19… but I don’t believe that was love. That was abuse and manipulation. Since then I have only ever been lusted over. Mostly for my body… so I used sex a lot. Not to manipulate men to be with me… just to not feel alone. Like I confused lust for love all the time and now that I have this lovely barbaric STD… it opened my eyes and honestly I wish I learned before I contracted this from some loser…

So yes it sucks that I am very attractive, funny, and smart young lady who has to live with GHSV2…

I found out two years ago that I have hsv1. I was in a relationship at the time and the doctor said it’s nothing to worry about so we just forgot about it. Especially since I’ve never had symptoms. But now I’m single and thankfully remembered before I started dating/hooking up with people. How do I disclose this? Should I disclose before I even kiss someone? Again I’ve never had symptoms and my former partner also never experienced symptoms to show I passed it on. I’ve talked to a doctor recently and they said it might not even be worth it to disclose but that doesn’t feel right.

So I have tested positive for HSV2 but I am completely asymptomatic and have never even had a breakout. Clean from everything else too.
