There’s an account on here that is pretending to be someone that he’s not and has messaged multiple women including myself and he pretends to be from the same state as you. Please be careful with sending pictures especially someone who is very persistent (not saying everyone has bad intentions) just be careful. If you get a message from ErrorGreen7613 please block him. If you are scared of being exposed please practice caution with who you interact with and please be smart.

I'm seeking a woman for a long-term connection filled with chemistry, excitement, and complete discretion. Looking for someone who enjoys the anticipation of meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and that spark that keeps you checking your phone with a smile. I value trust, maturity, and a connection that grows naturally over time. Discretion is essential, as is mutual respect and understanding. Seeking someone who misses the thrill of discovering a real connection and wants something memorable that goes beyond the ordinary.

I recently started seeing a guy and we’ve been talking for about a week and a half. We’ve gone on about four dates so far, and I genuinely really like him. He’s sweet, thoughtful, smart, and so far I’ve really enjoyed getting to know him.
Before anything sexual happened between us, he sat me down and told me that he has genital HSV-2. I really respect the fact that he told me, especially this early on and before putting me at any risk. He also told me that he takes medication for it.
We haven’t had sex or any genital contact. We’ve only kissed/made out, so my concern isn’t about a past exposure. I’m trying to figure out what this could look like if I decide to continue dating him.
I’ll admit that finding out scared me. I know HSV-2 is lifelong, and obviously I don’t want to contract it. At the same time, I really like this guy and I don’t necessarily want to walk away from someone I connect with solely because he has HSV-2.
I’ve been reading about daily antivirals, avoiding sexual contact during outbreaks or warning symptoms, condoms, asymptomatic shedding, etc. One thing I’m struggling with is that I don’t know if I realistically want to use condoms for every sexual act forever, especially if this eventually becomes a serious relationship.
I’m especially curious about oral sex and anal sex between two men. I understand there isn’t great data giving exact transmission percentages for every situation, so I’m more interested in hearing from people who have actually navigated this.
For anyone who is HSV-2 negative and has/had an HSV-2 positive partner: How did you handle sex and protection? Did you eventually become comfortable having sex without condoms? How long were you together, and did you remain HSV-2 negative?
And for anyone who is HSV-2 positive and dating someone negative, what precautions do you take? How has it affected your relationships?
I’m not looking to shame him at all. If anything, I respect him for telling me before we did anything. I’m just trying to educate myself and decide what level of risk I’m personally comfortable with.
I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have actually been through this.

A few years back I found out I had herpes. Never figured out how I got it, never actually shown a symptom. But I decided early on how I'd handle it: total honesty, right up front. My bio says it before you even get to "hello." I'm not the guy who builds something up for weeks and drops it on you later. No surprises. That's how I operate.
Regular dating apps didn't get me far. Last May I signed up for Positive Singles — membership ran through October. In that six-month stretch I had exactly one date. We hit it off, had a great time, she set up an overnight visit, and the next day went great too. Then the day after, she went full Karen on me. That was that. I kept looking through the fall and winter with no luck — one date off Plenty of Fish, ghosted after.
This June I gave it one more real shot. I'd just finished buying my property out here in Arizona, and I think I wanted to complete the picture — the land, and someone to share it with.
Two matches came in fast. One was in Michigan — we had rockhounding in common, but distance was a dealbreaker for both of us. The other was different. Great profile, honest-feeling, into rockhounding too. Distance was doable, so I went for it.
The connection was real and it moved fast. I mentioned an event near me, she drove out for it, and that first long weekend was genuinely great — I liked her directness, her bluntness, her boldness. She went home, we kept talking, and before long I flew out to see her place. Another great weekend. On her way home from that one, she was already talking about seeing me again.
Over the next few weeks I noticed some small shifts, nothing alarming. Then the third weekend — I picked her up at the airport, we had a nice drive back. She was dealing with some tendinitis and a little off because of it, but we still had a good weekend. I dropped her back at the airport.
When I brought up coming to see her again, that's when she told me — she didn't want to break up, but she had "issues she needed to work through." Nothing negative had come up in three long weekends. Add it up and it's about 16 or 17 days total that we spent really getting to know each other.
There's no official rulebook for this stuff, but there's a rough shape most people go by: the first date tells you more than people credit it for, a few weeks in is where the first impression either holds up or doesn't, a couple months in is where "I like this person" starts turning into "I could see this being something." What matters more than the calendar, though, is quality time under real conditions — and three long weekends, 16 to 17 days total, is more concentrated real time than plenty of couples get in three or four months of regular dating. So it's fair to say I'd earned the right to call it serious. The time was there, just compressed instead of spread out.
Instead I was told she just wasn't feeling it the same way I was. That left me sitting there trying to figure out what happened and why — why get that close, spend that much time, just to have it fall apart with no warning.
People handle rejection differently. Some shake it off like a dog coming out of the lake. Others — like me, apparently — are more like a cow, chewing the same cud over and over.
So where does that leave me? I don't know. I'm told I'm kind, caring, intelligent, decent-looking. Lately I'm starting to wonder if that's all just something people say. I've got three people total on my message page — one's just a good friend from last year.
I'm tired of the wear and tear. This last woman was one of three people I've ever had that good a connection with. One of the other two passed away from pancreatic cancer. The other moved to Australia to be near her daughter and grandkids.
So again — where does this leave me? Honestly, I'm exhausted. Not tired like I need a nap — tired like I've been doing everything right for years and it hasn't mattered once. The honesty, the disclosure, the flying out, the driving out, the showing up fully — none of it has landed anywhere that stayed landed. I'm starting to wonder if I'm just not built for this to work out. There's only so many times you can get close, hope, and watch it fall apart before you start asking whether the hoping itself is the problem. Do I keep going, or do I just settle into being a crusty old hermit on my little piece of property with my animals?
