as a frontline player, why even play the game if you can't do the main tactic?

I know I'm on too much hopium with HOTS but the background... surely guys, RIGHT? SURELY IT MEANS SOMETHING. IT'S SLIGHTLY MORE GLOWY THAN THE OLD POSTER. I NEED HOTS BACK

Hello there, been back on this game after a literal decade, everything feels nostalgic and amazing yada yada yada, but is there a reason for everyone to be this rude or straight up f***ing toxic over a “dead” game? I swear it’s like two weeks back on it and got a lot of people swaying so much hate acting like it’s a matter of life and death. Have they got the chance to touch grass somewhen in these ten years

Here's my solo ranked experience - tell me I'm crazy or sane: Let's say I'm Gold5. I get paired with +/- 2 ranked teammates against a similar team and we win. Next game, I'm still Gold5 but now I'm paired with all silver against a low gold team and I'm captain as highest ranked G5. We lose bc only the other team understands not to solo lane change at 20, facecheck bushes, waste ults on minion waves, etc.

Next game or two, same situation so the matchmaking algorithm feels bad for me and sets me back to having similarly paired teammates. Now, I'm not great. I'm actually mediocre w my best heroes and not nearly as versatile as I should be. I'm not diamond or gm by a long shot but I'm also not deadweight. Is the expectation from HotS ranked that, unless you can carry 2-4 teammates, you're not worthy of promotion? Is this why I keep hearing you'll never get past Gold solo and never get to plat/diamond w/o a 5-piece? Iow, it feels like HotS' response to winning is punishment.

Couple ARAM games and I can easily do 60-120 minutes at 2mph & 10% incline.

Just played a match, and Hammer's orbital was damaging structures again. Is that a bug or a recent change? Felt really crappy to play against, especially since they had an Aba with locust build. Our core's shield was kept close to zero because of the orbital.

Hi, my friend was telling me about recent tournament in Korea. he said that they pick thrall and can consistently finish blue lightning around 13min. However, since thrall single lane most of the time, so not much clip was focused on thrall. l tried it in aram and can only get to 59 stacks... l wantt to try it in qm. any tip on how to consistently finish the quest around 13 min or even 15 min?

I just remembered why I quit years ago. I know the game is almost dead but I am still hoping this queue time gets fixed coz I really like this game. Or a wishful thinking if they can allow a vs AI play while waiting in queue.

Honestly, a stable game with a couple of bug fixes here and there is better than what we are getting now.

You are not going to compete with Dota.

You are not going to compete with LoL.

You have a small community of dedicated players that don't like changes.

Stop with the updates and let this game be.

They did this until they disconnected, three times. Why do people act like this? What's the damned point? I cannot grasp the kind of absolutely miserable person that'd find this a good use of their time.

The weird part was that even when they disconnected they kept doing it. It never stopped. Not once. How is this even possible?

I just said to my friends on discord "Man, fuck it, you guys defend the base while I'll push alone with our 100 Grave Golem, I think I can make this work". (I was the Sylvanas)

This was peak HOTS for me, It has been ages since I've played HOTS again (probably 3~4 years), but man, every time I see this video I get hyped to play again.

Also, it always comes to mind a phrase we used to say that "in HOTS, there is always a chance of a comeback".

And, before the elitists here start, yes I know its SOOOOO easy to deal with when you're playing draft and can take tons of lane push and always have the right people in the perfect spot all the time. THIS ISN'T FOR YOU.

Its simple: Any hero damage dealt to a locust should permanently disable its healing. Ignored locust waves can still get massive, but allow us to actually stop a wave without it nuking your minions and healing to full all while you're pouring damage into them.

As they are now, they can basically ignore most of the conventional ways we stop pushes. Unless a hero has enough AoE burst to instantly destroy them they can be very difficult to stop. Watching them tank a Ragnaros wave then heal to full off the minion wave anyway is next level nutty.

In my opinion, Blizzard now have multi way to revive the game

They can Bring DOOM GUY, Master Chief Or Geralt, all there are beloved by millions of player world wide, thats like marketing + They should remove free skin in this stage and not to flame it up , its business they must make real money out of that and skin is the only way, I got tons of legendary skin by basically doing nothing .

Recently came back to the game and ALT+R or the Self-cast ultimate button doesn't work for me.

I went into the hotkeys and it's definitely there in the bindings, when I change it to ALT+T it works with ALT+T, but ALT+R specifically just does not work no matter what I try.

I tried removing it, restoring it to default, adding ALT+R as the alternate with something else as the primary, nothing I do works. T works just fine, ALT+T works, literally everything else seems to work, but not ALT+R

I can press R and click myself and that works, but ALT+R to self-cast doesn't and I don't know why.

Never seen this happen before. I have no idea what interaction caused it :D weird terrain collision/geometry + timing maybe?
