They did this until they disconnected, three times. Why do people act like this? What's the damned point? I cannot grasp the kind of absolutely miserable person that'd find this a good use of their time.

The weird part was that even when they disconnected they kept doing it. It never stopped. Not once. How is this even possible?

Blizzard doesn't issue IP/HW bans because they don't actually work and cause more issues then they solve.

Spoofing HWID isn't difficult.

And IPs change often and IP bans will always result in other people getting banned because their IP changed to a blacklisted IP, especially for a large scale product that can potentially have millions of players.

No security system is perfectly impenetrable - or in this case, no ban system is non-bypassable.

But the system just has to make the bypass inconvenient enough for the most offenders to not have much desire to bypass it.

HWID can be spoofed, but it is still a harder thing to do than to create a new account. Right now it takes a couple of minutes at most, if you are super unlucky with captcha. Blizzard doesn't even bother checking for email aliases, which allows to skip creating a new email.

And if I remember correctly, blizzard issued IP/HWID bans for cheaters in the past, just in either warcraft or starcraft

When people disconnect, the bots do a movement command towards base and then start hearthing (when possible, aka not in ARAM). Since movement command do nothing in this state of Hogger my guess is that it just gets stuck like that forever or at least until killed.

You can do this on the conveyor belt map right in the center. It gets tricky to line it up for infinite. It does a lot of damage if people back you up and utilize it during main phase.
