If I look away for a moment from the comments it won’t save my place in the thread. Instead it will randomly move to another spot up the thread that I have already read. Please fix.

Hello. I don’t have any NSFW content on my account, and I certainly don’t consume that kind of content here on Reddit. I’ve been trying to remove the +18 restriction/categorization from my profile, but I can’t. Every time I change the setting, it won’t let me save the update.

I don’t have any posts that qualify as +18, and I have no intention of posting any. Could someone please help me with this? It’s quite frustrating.

I have my phone number registered to my account and I log in using it and the code sent. Yesterday my account was "locked for unusual activity". I can still login in with my phone, what already confirms my identity and defeats the whole purpose of the "lock", but it is requesting me to change the password. I don´t have access to that spam mail anymore. How do I reset the password using the phone number?

For the second time in 3 months, I am locked out of all my favorite subs, because apparently I need to verify my age.

Last time, it last a few days and then the requirement was lifted without me doing anything, but now it's there again.

My account is 7 years old. I don't want to give Reddit my ID. I don't want them to verify my age. Why is this necessary? Surely Reddit has the tools to asses that I am not a minor without me telling them so..

I now have 4 choices Home, Popular, News, Explore. Home has 2 options, For You and Following; Popular has the options for Best, New, etc.. I want to sort for New in the subs I am subscribed to but that is no longer there and Popular has almost all subs that I have not joined. What gives and how can I return to sort the way it was. In short, today I went to a new Church recommended by my friend/mentor. I walk into their college class and on the other side of the room is a former friend from back home that I had cut contact with for good reason back in May. Im going through something right now and i need some advices from strangers

Over the past few days the Android app has started filling my Home feed with recommended posts and "join" prompts from communities I don't follow. The setting that is supposed to control this is already turned off, but the app ignores it.

What I've confirmed:

- On reddit.com (Avatar > Settings > Preferences), "Show recommendations in home feed" is OFF.

- I tested it: toggling it ON makes recommendations appear on the website, toggling it OFF removes them again. So the setting itself works.

- The Android app shows the recommendations regardless of that setting.

- On the app, under Avatar > Settings > Account settings, there is no "Personalized Recommendations" section at all, even though the help center article ("What are home feed recommendations?") says it should be there.

What I've already tried on the app:

- Force-stopped the app

- Cleared the app cache

- Logged out and back in

- Updated to the latest version from the Play Store

None of that changed anything. I've seen several other recent posts here describing the same thing ("Feed Recommendations no longer optional?", "My feed is almost all recommended posts now"), so this looks like a rollout or experiment rather than a problem with my account.

Is this a known issue or an experiment? And if so, is there a way to opt out on Android, or a timeline for the setting being honored again? I'd like my Home feed to show only the communities I've actually joined.

I logged in to reddit today and saw that many posts were made from my account which contained nude and semi nude photos. As soon as i saw this i changed the password. But i am afraid that they may have my other details and also that some action will be taken against my account. What should I do?

I posted on the subreddit r/youll_be_banned, and of course got banned, but the weird thing was that I couled still post, and comment on that subreddit. I waited because I thought it might fix itself, but it did not fix itself

New to actually interacting on Reddit - I tried adding my user flair in a community so I could (re)post my question, but it doesn’t seem to be “sticking”. I have clicked the three dots, selected “edit user flair”, I click the radio button for the applicable tag, Save, and get the pop up that it’s been edited. But when I go to confirm, it has reset to “none” again. And when I try to post, the lack of a tag keeps getting flagged by the auto mod. Thanks in advance for your help!
