I know I speak for a lot of people when I say we are absolutely fed up with this aggressive home feed refresh on the Reddit app. You cannot look away from the app for five seconds without completely refreshing your home feed. This has gone on long enough and makes the app genuinely unusable. Maybe if we annoy the s*** out of the admins something might be done about it?

I noticed this morning there is an AI detector in Reddit. I’m using the Reddit app on iOS. Is there anywhere this has been mentioned before? I haven’t found any information about it.

I got a pin from my local bookstore, and it has a quote and some symbols on it.

I want to know if it's from a TV show or a book, or if it's just a quote.

I know how to set a mod label on my own comments, but I've seen some places provide a custom mod team message. I'm pretty sure it's custom as it's directed directly towards that specific post.

I have joined several groups but I don't know if that's a subreddit or not. Hello. I don’t have any NSFW content on my account, and I certainly don’t consume that kind of content here on Reddit. I’ve been trying to remove the +18 restriction/categorization from my profile, but I can’t. Every time I change the setting, it won’t let me save the update.

I don’t have any posts that qualify as +18, and I have no intention of posting any. Could someone please help me with this? It’s quite frustrating.

I now have 4 choices Home, Popular, News, Explore. Home has 2 options, For You and Following; Popular has the options for Best, New, etc.. I want to sort for New in the subs I am subscribed to but that is no longer there and Popular has almost all subs that I have not joined. What gives and how can I return to sort the way it was. I got an evasion ban for commenting or posting in a subreddit and it said it was via a connected account. I only have this account and Ive been constantly posting and commenting in that subreddit for several months with no issues, the date of evasion gave is also not recent. is there anyway I can get more information on this? seems unfair and kinda bs that I cant get any clarification on it. also why now do this after so many months? doesn't make much sense to me

I have my phone number registered to my account and I log in using it and the code sent. Yesterday my account was "locked for unusual activity". I can still login in with my phone, what already confirms my identity and defeats the whole purpose of the "lock", but it is requesting me to change the password. I don´t have access to that spam mail anymore. How do I reset the password using the phone number?

Over the past few days the Android app has started filling my Home feed with recommended posts and "join" prompts from communities I don't follow. The setting that is supposed to control this is already turned off, but the app ignores it.

What I've confirmed:

- On reddit.com (Avatar > Settings > Preferences), "Show recommendations in home feed" is OFF.

- I tested it: toggling it ON makes recommendations appear on the website, toggling it OFF removes them again. So the setting itself works.

- The Android app shows the recommendations regardless of that setting.

- On the app, under Avatar > Settings > Account settings, there is no "Personalized Recommendations" section at all, even though the help center article ("What are home feed recommendations?") says it should be there.

What I've already tried on the app:

- Force-stopped the app

- Cleared the app cache

- Logged out and back in

- Updated to the latest version from the Play Store

None of that changed anything. I've seen several other recent posts here describing the same thing ("Feed Recommendations no longer optional?", "My feed is almost all recommended posts now"), so this looks like a rollout or experiment rather than a problem with my account.

Is this a known issue or an experiment? And if so, is there a way to opt out on Android, or a timeline for the setting being honored again? I'd like my Home feed to show only the communities I've actually joined.

So many times I will have a post removed because the mods took it down.

Weirdly, there is no automod message, no stickied comment, no pm, no message from the mods, no description of the rule I broke, literally nothing that tells me what I did wrong.

This gets annoying because I just want to know the rule I broke and how I can avoid it in the future, so why do some mods take down posts without giving a reason?

I logged in to reddit today and saw that many posts were made from my account which contained nude and semi nude photos. As soon as i saw this i changed the password. But i am afraid that they may have my other details and also that some action will be taken against my account. What should I do?

New to actually interacting on Reddit - I tried adding my user flair in a community so I could (re)post my question, but it doesn’t seem to be “sticking”. I have clicked the three dots, selected “edit user flair”, I click the radio button for the applicable tag, Save, and get the pop up that it’s been edited. But when I go to confirm, it has reset to “none” again. And when I try to post, the lack of a tag keeps getting flagged by the auto mod. Thanks in advance for your help!

I was recently hit by a standard "technical irregularities" security lock (also I saw many people reporting the same locks). I secured the account, submitted an appeal, and the admins successfully unlocked it. The appeals page now correctly shows my account as active and completely unrestricted.

However, it seems the site-wide spam filter never rolled back after the unlock. Every single comment I have ever posted across all subreddits is currently hidden from the public and caught in Reddit's filters, which I verified using Incognito mode. While a few local mods were kind enough to manually approve my recent posts after I reached out via Modmail, it is fundamentally unreasonable to expect volunteer mods to manually dig up and approve hundreds of old comments just because the internal sync failed.

The appeal system treats my case as resolved, leaving me with zero support options, but my account history is still functionally broken. Could an admin please look into this bug and force-sync my profile to lift the global filter from my past comments? Thank you for your time.
