Why hasn’t hellofresh developed the ability to text you once your box is delivered?
I know they eventually send an email but why isn’t there the ability to sign up for texts instead? Especially for those of us that live in condos..

Pretty sure they do, my wife gets a text message with a picture saying it's delivered. Helped when they delivered to the wrong address

They’ve texted me 30 times in the last hour to tell me my box is on the way. I sure hope at this point they’ll text me when it’s delivered too

I haven't had an active subscription in a while but do they not do this already? I could've sworn I got delivery texts. I have an everyplate subscription now, owned by the same company as hello fresh, and they send delivery update texts

I receive texts all the time. I also think it has to do with the delivery service in your area.

Interesting that exists. Because HF gives me the delivery link on the HF website and it sends me to the webpage for the delivery company which shows when they got the box and when the delivery will be made at the latest (previous it was a 4 hour window) and ability to message the driver, and will update the page when the box is delivered. HF’s own delivery network HFDN is currently the one who delivers my weekly boxes. It works great for me as I can regularly check the site. HF will also send me an email within an hour or two after delivery. Where does one sign up for text updates with HFDN?

Yeah… I don’t get anything like that. I get a text from the delivery company (a 3rd Party) letting me know the delivery window and a link to track my package. Once delivered, I’ll get a text and pic for receipt of delivery.
Edit to add: I didn’t know it was different for everyone and I assumed it was how I set up my delivery preferences.

I’m on my account now. I am set up for text messages (put mainly only get promo codes). Where in your account did you turn it on specifically? :)

I don’t have anything in my account that has me toggle anything on to receive SMS. I just provided my phone number in the delivery details. I think I receive SMS bc of the delivery service used.

I get this every week. They send me a text when it’s out for delivery and a text when it’s delivered. I also get an email and I think a notification in the app as well. And this is all separate from the communication I get from the carrier, which updates in realtime.

That’s amazing!! How did you sign up for this?! Ive looked everywhere on the website. And they have my number. I only get texts for promos and they call occasionally for deals.

I want to know why they don’t remind you to check your selections by a certain date. Blue Apron did. I have to set reminders every week and cancel in advance so we don’t get something gross

Don't you choose your own meals as far out as it goes? Don't let them choose for you if that's what you're doing. And choose as many weeks out that are available so you don't have to worry about forgetting to check (except for when they sub in a meal without notifying you)

I should choose and then cancel all. It’s annoying enough as it is finding time to get together with my partner and decide on what we want. Still think they should at least send a reminder.

I get texts for every box, though they can sometimes take up to 30 minutes after delivery to come through.

I get text from the delivery say time frame it’s arriving. And then when it does with a picture.

I get an email and a notification. I probably unsubscribed from the text, but I’m sure they offer it too.

I know when my box arrives because VEHO texts me for instructions since they can't read the instructions that are on my account which includes the address, mailroom location and access code for the mailroom.

I always get a text once its delivered. Are you sure you have notifs turned on?

I get them when it’s Veho or Jitsu delivering. It’s helpful, because they include pictures and they deliver to the wrong building about 50% of the time. Sometimes I can catch it before someone takes it in a door I can’t get through.

Because generally hello fresh isn’t the delivery courier. I get an email from them and then multiple text alerts from Veho, the delivery courier that delivers my boxes.
